My wife and I a gift certificate for Figs Steakhouse and were excited about the experience as we had heard many good things. First off, the atmosphere was not what I thought it would be – just a large metal building with tables everywhere – nothing romantic about the atmosphere – and a big open window into the kitchen (which I wasn’t a fan of). Now the food: we started with the rustic bread with salted butter which was actually pretty good, we had the Lobster Lollipops as an appetizer (they were ok…) For our main course, I had the wagyu chicken fried steak and my wife had the braised salmon (both were excellent – best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had! The salmon was very flavorful) the sides were a bit lacking (brussel sprouts were very dry, mashed potatoes weren’t anything special, and the mac n cheese was decent). Main courses were definitely worth the price.
Now the desserts: because we were full and wanted to take a few things home to the kids – we ordered 2 Tiramisus, 1 Cheesecake, 1 Bread Pudding, and 1 Creme Brulee. The tiramisu was not that great – it tasted like they used too much coffee liqueur. The cheesecake was honestly grocery store quality – you can get a much better slice of cheesecake for cheaper at Cheesecake Factory… I haven’t tried the bread pudding yet but I don’t have high hopes for it. And… by the time we got home we realized that we were missing the Creme Brulee in our to-go bag. I called the restaurant and the waiter never even put it on our order.
All in all, the entree’s were really good, but nothing else was worth writing home about. The desserts are WAY overpriced and the sides need something to be desired.

For reference, we are not “hoity-toity” about restaurants but for an “upscale” steakhouse we expected a lot more. We spent over $240 (including the gift certificate and tip) and didn’t have that great of an experience.

I know some people will have a different experience but we won’t be back.

We had the Prime Tomahawk for 2, mac & cheese and skillet potatoes with red onions. The food was great and the bread was fresh and warm. We got there early so we could try the bar before our dinner reservations, or drinks we ordered the raspberry margarita but somehow once we got to the table we ended up with something totally different, a margarita mix that came with chocolate covered . The restaurant was very classy, and our waitress and bartender were great. They only downfall was during our time at the bar, the chef came out behind the bar to confront the bartender about an incident, which was very unprofessional, and it made several customers uncomfortable. At the time of this incident the bar area was full of customers, this was something that should have been addressed at a different time or behind closed doors. We did mention it to the manager, and hopefully, he addressed the incident with the chef. All the ladies were given a bag of sea salt caramel as a Valentines gift.

Our experience at Fig’s was great! The main reason for 4 stars is due to the price for the area. The price rivals some of the top steakhouses in Dallas. The meat I understand being a higher price as the quality is much better but $18 for a dessert is a little steep in my opinion. Food wise everything we had was absolutely delicious! Hands down one of the best filets I’ve had. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were so flavorful. We also had the truffle mashed potatoes which I woods highly recommend and the calamari and shrimp appetizer. I would recommend Figs to someone for a special occasion and looking to drop a dime. I will say it was nice not having to drive into the city!

The place closes at 9 pm, yet by 8:30 they are actively closing down all around our table and all over the restaurant.

I went outside for a smoke ( they have provided a very nice ashtray) in their front patio area. A group of servers came out to remove all the cushions, including from chairs directly next to me. I stood up because I felt like I was in their way, and they took those cushions too…lol

My bartender couldn’t make my drink correctly. The lobster sauce on my crab cake was extremely salty, ruined my crab cake. My ribeye steak was rare, actually I would say blue ( extra rare …lightly seared in the outside and very red on the inside), ( I ordered med rare). The raspberry creme brulee is actually vanilla creme brulee with a raspberry drizzle on top…it was great but please label it correctly. They don’t offer a simple cup of coffee on the menu.

The bread was awesome. Our server Dani was awesome.

Y’all made me feel unwelcome. You made me feel guilty for staying till 9:02 pm. You made me feel like I was in your way.. ( sweeping next to my table while I was trying to eat my 15$ dessert).

Excellent restaurant. The deco is really nice. Great atmosphere. Tons of staffs. We weren’t rush and had a lovely evening. Great menu selection and wine selection too.

We had 2 appetizers and shared an entree with sides. Even sharing all those we are still stuffed and couldn’t do their desserts.

They have a red carpet entrance into their restaurant. A lovely waiting area as well.

We were told that they are starting a brunch on the weekend. Will have to come back to try that.

We ordered their fried calamari and shrimp, lobster bisque and waygu prime ribeye and creamy spinach.

The food came out perfect. The steak was cook precisely as how it should be, rare but the outside was cook and seasoned well.

Who knew you could get a world-class steakhouse experience right here in Tool? Fig’s completely exceeded expectations!
Zoe was our server and she was first-class—attentive, knowledgeable, and made the night special. Chef Avner’s steaks were perfection: perfectly cooked, insanely flavorful, and some of the best we’ve ever had.
Elegant vibe, outstanding food, and top-notch service. This place belongs in Dallas, but lucky for us it’s right here on Cedar Creek Lake.
Highly recommend—go now!

Excellent! Ranks in the top place here around Cedar Creek Lake and Henderson County! 1st time I had the Lobster. Not exaggerating…ranked up there with TruLucks! 2nd time I tried the calamari and then the salmon. Oh my goodness!!! Yum!!!!! If you haven’t already tried this place, you need to!!! Atmosphere is fabulous, people/staff are attentive, and our overall experience was wonderful!

My husband and I ate here last night in celebration of his birthday. The food was AMAZING! We ordered the calamari, shrimp, and lobster appetizer. It was the best lobster we’ve ever had! So soft and delicious!
We ordered the wagyu new York steak and fish of the day (flounder) and oh my goodness…. the steak just melts in your mouth. It was absolutely delicious and easily the star of the night. The fish was exceptionally cooked and the truffles were a very nice touch! We ordered the wild mushroom risotto and broccolini sides and they were super tasty. Our waitress, Hailey, brought out desert out with a little candle to sing happy birthday to my husband and it was such a personal touch. It was really appreciated! She was great!! We will definitely be back here!

I enjoyed my visit here. I gave 4 stars because the price is incredibly high for the area it’s in. However, the food and service were impeccable, and it was a beautiful restaurant. I recommend Saraya as a server because she is absolutely amazing and will make sure all of your dining needs are met. I would like to go back, but again, it’s only if I can afford to really splurge.
