I’ve lived in Toronto for three years and in Vancouver for one year.
I’m Korean, so I’ve been to countless Asian restaurants.
Trust me, this restaurant is one of the best.
You might feel it’s a little bit pricey, and you might have to wait for your food a bit longer than you expected, but 100% worth it.
Beautiful inside, friendly staff, most amazingly: delicious food.
Try katsu japa dog if you can’t decide what you should pick. The best one so far for me.

Stopped in Moose Jaw to fill up my car and drove by this place and was intrigued by the Japanese street food sign. After getting my gas headed back and was blown away by the adorable interior. Having been to Japan 3 times I can say this is completely authentic and can’t believe I’m in the Canadian prairies. Ordered a chicken teriyaki hot dog (amazing), red bean takoyaki (sweet and warm) and took a sake to go for after I finish driving cause it comes with a glass with animals on it…kawaii! Clean. Stylish. Delicious. When driving by don’t go to a fast food chain, run, don’t walk to Mitsu! And Moose Jaw, you don’t know how lucky you are to have this gem of an eatery, go support them.

Food was delicious, I very much enjoyed the mango sweet bun it had a crunchy exterior with a sweet sugar on top. It was glazed with a sweet mango sauce, would recommend. Service was great, beautiful interior, lights creating a bright beautiful atmosphere, along with pretty wood tables. Would recommend, affordable and tasty.

Great food and great experience here at Mitsu. We came for a quick snack and had to try out more from their menu. We recommend their pork katsu sandwich and beef japadog! So come by for a treat if you’re here at MJ ❤️✨

Bright and warm atmosphere. Contact less ordering like in Japan. A good selection of well made Japanese street food. Lovely companion restaurant to their sister restaurant. I found the prices reasonable, the food was good, service was fast.
