The people running the restaurant are very nice, the prices are almost unbeatable, and they have some options that are hard to find at other takeout places around Fredericksburg.
I got an order of hibachi chicken and steak with a couple extra yum yum sauces. The food needed the sauce, but that’s okay. The vegetables and rice were actually the best part of the meal. The steak wasn’t very tender or flavorful, but they did pile on the meat. I absolutely wouldn’t complain to them about it.
The gyoza appetizer comes with 8 (some places do 6 and charge more). They were really good and heated up well in the microwave the next day.
It’s not my absolute favorite place, but I’ll be back. Great service and great prices make Tokyo Express III a winner.

It is the first time I’ve had breaded Teriyaki Chicken. It comes with fried rice and vegetables. Overall the food tasted okay, but it reminded me more of a Garlic Chicken vs. Teriyaki Chicken. The price was quite reasonable, but I would not get the same meal again.

Singapore rice noodles looked like they reheated from a few days ago. The chicken was rubbery and honestly didn’t even look like chicken. When I order Singapore rice noodles from other restaurants they are usually yellow, I can definitely tell these were old. NEVER AGAIN.
