We tried Irani Chai, Navrang Samosas, Stuffed Mirchi Bajji, Noodles and Benne Masala Dosa. Everything was served nice, hot and customizable spice level (noodles). The chutneys the Dosa came with were very good taste, though the Benne dosa itself may be an acquired taste.
Will visit again and try some more dishes. Do give this food truck a try if you’re in the area.
Let’s talk about why this is the undisputed champion for taste, portion size, and price:
Indo-Chinese Heaven
Their Indo-Chinese game is on another level!
• The Fried Rice and Hakka Noodles are perfectly wok-tossed with that smoky desi touch.
• Manchurian (both veg and chicken) — gravy or dry — is easily the best I’ve had outside India.
• Desi Dragon Chicken — spicy, tangy, crispy, and addictive!
• Karepaku Chicken (curry leaves chicken) — the aroma alone will pull you in from a block away. Every bite screams authentic street-style flavor with generous portions that actually fill you up.
South Indian Specials That Hit Different
• Benne Masala Dosa — crispy, buttery, perfectly fermented batter with that golden benne (butter) glow and delicious potato filling. One of the best dosas in the entire state!
• Hyderabad Bandi Dosa — thin, crispy, loaded with spice powders and ghee — pure street-style nostalgia.
Veg Appetizers & Hidden Gems
• Punugulu — crispy, fluffy, and perfectly spiced lentil fritters. Addictive with chutney!
• Sattibabu Fry Piece Pulav — this special is pure genius. Tender fried chicken pieces mixed into fragrant pulav — comfort food at its finest.
Portions are HUGE, prices are unbelievably reasonable (you’ll be shocked at how much food you get for the price), and everything tastes fresh and made with love.
Whether you’re a die-hard Indo-Chinese fan, a dosa lover, or just someone who appreciates real desi flavors — Desi Delaware food truck is a must-visit. I’ve been multiple times and it’s consistently outstanding.
Do yourself a favor and go hungry — you’re going to want to try everything!
Easily the #1 Desi food truck in Delaware. Highly recommended! Finally Missed their Irani chai (Tea) the best .
The Kariyapaku Chicken (Curry Leaf Chicken) was chef’s kiss. The aroma itself makes you hungry. And their Chicken 65? Crispy, juicy, and perfectly spicy.
I also love that they have so many options from Punugulu and Mysore Bonda to Dragon Chicken and noodles. It’s like you get street food + Indo-Chinese + biryani all in one place.
The best part? It actually tastes homemade, not heavy or overly greasy. Perfect late evening food stop.
If you miss authentic Telugu flavors, this truck will remind you of home ❤️ Definitely going back again!
This time, I tried one of their new combos, the chicken combo, and wow — it’s too good Perfectly flavorful and satisfying. The staff are super friendly, always smiling and making you feel welcome, which makes the whole experience even better .
If you’re around, definitely swing by the food, the vibe, and the fresh combos are all worth it! Can’t wait to come back and try more.
We tried a few items and each one was full of flavour. Especially the snacks and curries were very tasty and satisfying. Portion size is also good for the price.
Service was friendly and quick. They are very polite and welcoming. If you are craving real Indian taste in this area, this place is definitely worth visiting. Will surely go again.
I also tried their fried rice and chicken noodles from the Indo-Chinese menu, and they were just as impressive. The fried rice had great balance without being oily, and the chicken noodles had that perfect street-style taste with tender pieces of chicken. Overall, the food, the service, and the vibe were all spot on…definitely a place I’d go back to and recommend to anyone who loves authentic flavors.
tea— is just Awesome everything was delicious!
The dosa was perfectly crisp, the noodles and fried rice had great Indo-Chinese flavor, and the Chicken 65 was spicy, crispy, and super tasty. The Gobi Manchurian was flavorful with the right crunch. Ended the meal with a refreshing cup of tea.
Overall, a satisfying and enjoyable food experience. Definitely worth trying!
