This is awesome!!! Build your own salad and priced per weight so you’re choosing how much you pay by how heavy you make your salad.

I’d hate to leave this review, because I liked this place. Visited today (11/23) around 12:30pm and realized the young lady who works there rung me up wearing the same gloves she was wearing to handle food. I waited to see if she would change them following the transaction. No, she went straight back into the kitchen handling items with those same gloves on. I just wasted money on food, as now I’m afraid to eat after seeing that. I unfortunately won’t be back.

The salad bar is self serve, when you get there you go all the way to the end if the counter where there is box size options and a sheet of paper to fill out if you want a smoothie, you then just fill your box with what you want they have cups for dressing or other sides you don’t want ON your salad at that moment.

Husband and I got two salads and two smoothies. The first salad was opened and the Caesar dressing was absolutely rotten reeked of spoiled rotten dairy the second salad. The chicken on the salad was pink with seasoning on the outside. We both had smoothies, which were absolutely wonderful. We have requested a full refund on the salads as we paid $52..waiting to hear back from the store manager.. good layout and idea but the stock is not being monitored and managed well at all.

Tried Leaf for the first time today for dinner. The food options were a bit disappointing for the price. At almost $10 a pound I had higher expectations. Was it bad? No, but was it good? Also no. The protein section I feel gave off gas station quality as most of the options were just chopped up pieces of thin lunch meat. The cheese section also was very low quality cheap cheese. The salad dressing was still in the original Aldi containers.
A sit down restaurant salad would have been about the same price or even less and I wouldn’t have had to make it myself. The food was decently fresh so they have that going for them, just need to step up the quality.

A bit pricey if you want a big salad, but everything was fresh and delicious.

Great place for a healthy lunch. Friendly staff and great selection of vegetables and fruits. If you pile on everything you like in a salad you could accidentally pay from $12-$20! I make my salads lightweight with veggies like lettuce, kale, spinach then use just a couple of my other favorite toppings and usually pay $4 or less! I eat here 2-3 days a week to save on time prepping my lunch at home and the food is always fresh.

I’ve read many reviews about the expense of this place, however it’s really up to the person making the salad to be careful. I have never paid over $7 for a salad and I’m able to put chicken, avocado, eggs, all types of things in there and I put the dressing directly on my salad. U just have to remember that it’s gonna be weighed and use mostly veggies. This place is legit…however I got nothing for the smoothie price…I drink water with most meals. Water is free here.

I love Leaf but my recent experience was not great. Extremely dirty bathroom, supplies/boxes needing unpacking were everywhere throughout the lobby leaving it messy, the walls were filthy with food splatter. I will return at some point but hope it’s in better condition in the future. No one wants to eat in filth.
