As for authenticity, I can’t speak. My exposure to Jamaican food is limited.
What I can speak to is the flavor and portions offered by The Lewins. I purchased the jerk chicken, beans and plantains. Enough food for 2 servings and flavor was incredible. I’ll be back. So glad I stumbled on this truck on the way to drop off a coworker to the airport.

Very good food and would definitely recommend. Had the curry and the jerk chicken and both were fire. Nice, clean food truck. If I lived out here I’d come often

I got the oxtail plate with streamed cabbage and rice and peas. I paid $28 but in my opinion it was well worth it. The owner was very friendly and the food was amazing. I would have liked a little more spice on the oxtails but that’s just personal preference. They have definitely gained a loyal customer and I will definitely be recommending this place to others.

The food is good but it isn’t Jamaican. The price is also way, too, high for it to be basic American style food. I have family from Jamaica so I know for a fact this isn’t authentic. Regular BBQ is being promoted as jerk chicken when it isn’t. It was nice to try but I won’t be a returning customer.
