Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Awesome atmosphere and the food is amazing! They just started opening for lunch for the summer, so it was pretty quiet when we were here. Outdoor patio with a view of the river would be awesome in the evening. Iwould highly recommend giving this place a try of you are ever in Yankton!

Some of the food was good, once we ordered something they actually had available(steak tips and mashed potatoes and a pasta)no hamburgers of any kind, the “coming soon” wasn’t available yet, no Sangria. The grilled asparagus was pathetically overcooked, it should never have been served. The waitress was friendly and attentive; we felt sorry for her when she had to keep telling us something wasn’t available. She said the manager had been out of town for a week…guess no one else could do the ordering. On a “good” day the restaurant might have received a better rating front our party of 6.

Chose this place as we overheard other hotel guests mention it. Neat restored building with nice decor, bar, and good live music. Sadly, the food and service left much to be desired. We ordered steamed mussels as a starter ~ half of them in the first serving were unopened. We returned them and a second serving was offered a half-hour later. My husband ordered a southwest salad that was mostly tortilla chips. My youngest daughter asked for a salad instead of potato with her steak ~ got the potato, anyway, though it was uncut and no condiments were offered with it. My oldest daughter asked for ketchup and tartar sauce with her fish & chips ~ my husband had to get up and ask our server for it so she could eat. The mussels and my portabella salad were good but the handful of sun-dried tomatoes added to each was completely unnecessary. I believe our server was new (my husband is not so sure) so I gave him a bye on the slowness and inattentiveness, but we had higher hopes in general.

Great food and excellent service. Our kitty kat bartender was the best. She was extremely knowledgeable and was very friendly. We drive out here from detroit every year to pheasant hunt, we will definitely be back to eat here next year. Taylor next door was also very nice and was an awesome person to talk with over drinks ❤

My new favorite restaurant in Yankton. The staff was on the ball and incredibly friendly. We enjoyed the cold drinks and delicious food. I’m a stickler for bloody Mary’s and the others in town cannot compete. A little spendy but worth paying if it’ll be consistently good. The menu has a variety of options. Can’t wait to return to try the rest of the menu.

Wanted to get an order to go after new ownership – had a hard time choosing what to order because the new menu had so many delicious sounding entrees! The Shepard’s Pie and Landing French Dip did not disappoint, and this was even after I got it home! Great customer service and the place still has the same atmosphere we know and love! Would definitely recommend to locals and out-of-towners.

When we ate here, it was early evening and there were only a handful of people in the place. We sat there for 5 minutes without getting waited on and a couple that comes walking in gets served right away. Finally the waitress shows up and she’s clearly new, because she couldn’t answer any of my questions about the menu. I ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and it came to me so drenched in sauce that I couldn’t hardly find the pasta. My son’s order was completely wrong, and my husband’s burger was not great either. It was definitely not worth $50.

Was a fun experience. Near the river and off the main roads. Found by accident while driving around exploring. Food was good, however my wife steak lacked flavor. Sides where excellent. Seating is cramped, hard to even get into your table.

Update: 6-12-19: Under new management. Wow! What a difference!! Attentive, friendly & knowledgeable staff. Food was spot on with minimal wait. Extensive menu… something for even the finicky eater. Definitely going back… probably tomorrow.

ldisappointed. The service was very friendly & our waitress was new, but cared & tried. However, the meat was way over cooked, dry & tasteless. If it weren’t for the yummy sauces made from the beer, I wouldn’t have eaten them. The beer flights that were supposed to accompany the food didn’t show up till we were 3/4 the way through meal. The 6 flights, although numbered, we’re not titled in any other way…we had no idea what kind of beer we were drinking. When asked, the names were rattled off but no list was provided. Oh, did I mention that the beer flights were served in plastic Dixie cups?? For a place that’s supposed to be a bit upscale, y’all really missed the mark… Almost forgot to mention…the live music that was supposed to be there…ya, nope…

Allison was great she told us about all the beers and helped us pick out what we wanted. The sandwiches made for prime rib were killer and my wife love the onion rings. Addition to the 288 different beers they had they also had a huge selection of wine. the meal was reasonably priced.
