We loved the pizza at La Riva! We ordered the sausage pizza and it was so fresh, you could really taste the fennel seeds.
We ordered several other items, see photos.
They have a wheel chair ramp on the left side of the building and there’s also handicapped parking on the left side.
There are a few single bathrooms and there was one the right that was wheel chair accessible.
I ordered a Daiquiri and it was really good.
I thought the restaurant had a really good vibe, was clean and looked new (I was told it was about 5 yrs old?). The restaurant is very well kept.
Would definitely recommend. The waitstaff were friendly and frequently asked if we needed anything.
We got there early at 5:30pm, and it started to get very busy once we were finished. There is a nice bar area that has several bar stools.

La Riva Pizza is legit one of my favorite spots. The fish is surprisingly fire, and the pizza? I’ve tried every single one and they all slap. Pretty much everything on the menu hits—it’s all fresh and super well made. The owner and workers are always really nice, and the service is quick. Plus, the spot is in a great location—right by ice cream, mini golf, and the lighthouse. Perfect after a beach day. Definitely recommend.

We have been to the establishment before and ordered baked rigatoni which we usually love. Drove 23 minutes to restaurant to pick up 3 orders of baked rigatoni to go when the entire order was wrong. Paid in cash and she wanted me to drive all the way back with 6 children to collect my refund since they could not refund a card. I explained to her I could not drive back for refund so do gift card to email. She refused to and told me I had to then drive back for cash. If the owner would like to call me back and not incompetent manager we can resolve. Since I could not drive all the way back with a 1 year old and 5 other children! The entire call was on speaker phone so I have 5 adults that can verify what terrible customer service they have when it comes to takeout. If the takeout menu is not identically made to the menu in store then you may possibly want to list that, since I am not the only one to have complained about takeout menu.
1 order was supposed to be no ricotta cheese
-came with absolutely no cheese
2 made as per menu and came with no mozzarella or Parmesan
As a result I had to dispute the charge we made 2 days ago.

Great spot for dinner. Pizza was tasty and I loved the straccitella appetizer. The baked rigatoni was on every table so I felt like I had to order it, but it was just fine – could have used more red sauce. We also really liked our drinks.
Heads up the restaurant can get super loud though

Warm mozzarella and salad are awesome apps. Brick oven pizza just ok. We sent back one pie tonight because the entire one side was black/ burnt. The taste of the other pie was burned flavor. Disappointed because last time we went food was good.
Also, no longer a byob, and it’s very loud
Photos show ends burnt. But bottoms were the same. We dealt with it
They need to give good quality for the prices.

We’ve been to La Riva many times and it never fails to impress. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere are consistently on point. It’s one of our favorite spots on LBI – highly recommended!

I’ll let the pictures show why the low rating. The parts on my wife’s pizza that weren’t burned were good, other half was black burned on bottom and raw dough inside. I sent mine back and had it taken off the bill. How do you serve that thing? If they figure out how to run the oven, this place could be good. I’ll give them a shot next year after they get some experience.

Found out about it in early July. Love this place ! A brand new pizzeria / restaurant in Barnegat Light. Plenty of parking with a “warehouse “ feel inside. Kitchen in view in the back with a large vintage Italian oven. A great causal feel and ambience. A short but fantastic menu. Our 2nd time there last week , me and the wife shared the rigatoni and mozzarella / tomato appetizer. Fantastic. Then we shared the roasted chicken. It is sooo juicy and packed with flavor. Finished with gelato. We love it and will keep coming back. They will soon have an open bar. a must try in that end of the island !

We love La Riva! Ignore the haters with the poor reviews. Brick oven pizza is always slightly charred – it’s what gives it flavor, and their pizzas are delicious. The rigatoni is excellent too, as are their Spritzes – yum! We’ve always found the service to be great. People have to realize that this is a summer community and sometimes it’s hard to get enough staff – but we’ve always found all the waitstaff at all their restaurants (The Arlington & Daymark) to be super friendly.

We enjoyed our meal at La Riva so much that we returned four days later. It was by far the best meal(s) we had on the island and possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had. Our second visit the Margherita pizza could have used some more cheese but it was still great. The Stacciatella salad was also fantastic.
