We came here for lunch with our family on a Saturday afternoon. Our server I believe was Lynn…and was just a delight. We ordered so many items from the menu, and nothing disappointed. From the seafood chowder, pizza, chicken tenders, smash burgers all the way to chocolate peanut butter cheesecake for dessert. We stuffed ourselves full and enjoyed every bite. We will definitely be back to try the brunch and dinner menu!

After being highly recommended, we had dinner at The Junction tonight and were so glad we did! We were greeted by a very friendly woman at the front reception who seated us right away (we did have a reservation). A moment later, our waiter acknowledged us to let us know he’d be over shortly.
After a brief wait, the hostess kindly came by to let us know he was tied up with another table and offered to get us drinks, which we really appreciated. A short time later, our waiter Sean arrived—he immediately apologized for the wait and was absolutely wonderful for the rest of the evening.
Sean was friendly, attentive, and gave great feedback when we asked for recommendations. We had heard a few comments about the restaurant being noisy, but we didn’t find it to be an issue at all. The tall ceilings might make it a bit lively, but it didn’t take away from our experience one bit.
Overall, everything was fantastic—especially the service from both staff members we interacted with. Sean was an awesome server! I didn’t get a photo of the calamari, but my husband said it was amazing. We’ll definitely be back!

Awesome restaurant in Laconia. Lively and hip atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Had the octopus tacos and the junction burger. Both meals were excellent and the fries are worthy of mention as well. Definitely a place to come to if you’re in the area.

Are you lactose intolerant, dairy-free or vegan? Save yourself some angst and search for food elsewhere. There is nothing—not one thing—on the menu that is made without dairy products without a substitution. In most cases, the substitutions *dramatically* impact the flavor profile of the dishes. Examples: omitting the pesto on the squash steak leaves you with rice and quinoa with no flavor, or omitting the truffle butter on the pappardelle leaves you with pasta drenched in olive oil, or omitting dairy on their french onion soup means no cheese OR bread atop the soup as they used butter-filled brioche as the bread, so… a pile of melted onions? Other things can’t even be subbed out because they’re pre-prepped with dairy i.e. crab cake.
It’s 2025. 70% of Asian people have a dairy allergy. Junction chef, please get with the program!
Staff is all super kind, efficient, good-natured and attempted to be accommodating. They are also all overworked and rushing around like chickens with their heads cut off—in part because of the complicated drinks (smoking the whiskey drink) that each require multiple extra minutes of prep.
The wait is long, the line moves slowly.
But my biggest gripe is actually that they haven’t solved the We Are In NH Where Winter Lasts Forever problem that allows freezing cold air in every time the door opens—which could be eradicated with some 84” curtain on either side of the entry wall. DO NOT sit at the bar or any of the first five tables unless you want to wear your parka the *entire* time.
Overall a dining experience that was subpar at best and incredibly frustrating at worst. Also the prices are outrageous. $30-45 for pasta dishes is wild for the middle of nowhere NH. Those are some inner city Boston prices.
Wishing we’d stuck to our original plan to eat down the street.

I highly recommend checking this place out. Everything was amazing. Newer restaurants need time to adjust, but from the second we walked in to when we left, everything was incredible! Our server was wonderful, and the food and drinks were delicious. The lobster mac & cheese was to die for!! Will be returning again in the future.

My husband and I come up to the Laconia area a few times a year and have tried a variety of restaurants but today we found a favorite. We had the pleasure of Julie being our lovely waitress. They had specials available as well as seasonal cocktails. The food was wonderful . Grazing board seen here, as well as berry lemonade and watermelon margarita cocktails!! Check them out if in the area!

We came after they had been open for 2 months. Food was very good! The shrimp cocktail are easily U8 (massive). The burger and lobster mac were also bomb. Nice to see some nicer spots coming to the area. Would absolutely recommend. Also, our server Jake was great!

Excellent waitress, but disappointing food and ambiance for the price. It was too bright, too open, and very cold at our table, despite being far from the door. We had two types of specialty pizzas, neither of which was all that exceptional, to the point that my date had some of mine since he was so disappointed with his own. Both could have used more cheese and toppings. The drinks were also very expensive ($12 for a basic local beer, around $18 for a mixed drink), though good. We likely won’t be returning anytime food since we can get better food for lower prices at several other places nearby. The waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, though.
