I went to this restaurant because of the Yelp reviews. I got the fish-and-chips and was not disappointed. It is a huge piece of Cod that is perfectly fried without being overly breaded. Fries are just good, but the fish is the reason to go.

Delicious food! Super friendly service! The owner was so kind and helpful. She was very welcoming and chatted with my 6 year old. The fish and chips were very good and my hubby loved pastrami burger.

I’m probably biased because I know the owner’s son, but I like the place! The fries are pretty good, they serve pretty decent fish and chips, and the staff are friendly.

Best fish and chip ever! Nice thin crispy crust over a whole 8 oz fish. They said this is the traditional way of Fish and chips in the UK, verses the thicker greasy crust and several small fish pieces we have at other restaurants in the States. I’ll definitely be back!

They were so welcoming and accommodating for our large group even though they are a small place. Amazing food and so fun to talk to and their fish n chips were on point legit. 10/10 would definitley drive 8 hours just to eat here again.

The burgers were excellent and the staff was exceptionally friendly! I especially loved the Frozen Hot Chocolate Frappe that they recommended! I’ll definitely be stopping by again next time I’m in Malad!

The hospitality here was fantastic, our hostess was able to educate us on different places in town to check out. The food was fantastic, the fish and chips were some of the best that I’ve ever had. I definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat.

Had such a great time in this little joint. The food was spot on and the staff/owner were so friendly and welcoming. We had just missed the high school rush for lunch and there was no one else there when we stopped and we had a great conversation with them. Highly recommend stopping there if you are traveling by.

We had a group of 25 that wanted to relax and visit and Roylies was the ONLY place in town willing to accommodate us! We had attended a graveside service and wanted to eat and visit before we all went our separate ways. I called the available eating places a few days ahead of our visit and they said we could come, but they couldn’t guarantee that we could sit together and indicated that it would be difficult to have us there as a group. Claire (at Roylies) was very welcoming and willing to let us move the tables and chairs around, and let us stay and visit as long as we wanted. She and her staff (all 3 of them) worked very hard to get our various orders prepped and served in a timely manner. They were very solicitous and checked several times to see if anyone needed anything else. And, Claire even joined us in family banter!!! The food was delicious, as well. We will definitely eat there again! Thanks, Roylies!!
