We visited the Lawrenceville location of Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen this past Saturday. We normally dine at the Jimmy Carter Boulevard location in Norcross, and the food is always amazing — this visit was no different in terms of quality. We were quoted a 50-minute wait, which we completely understood since it was a Saturday. That part was expected. However, after being seated, two tables that were seated after us were greeted, given menus, and had their drink orders taken before our server ever came to our table. We sat for quite some time without acknowledgment. That was disappointing and not the level of service we’re used to at Pappadeaux. The food was excellent as always, but the initial service experience did not match the standard we typically experience at the Norcross location.

If you’re craving seafood and bold Cajun flavors in Georgia, this place should be at the top of your list. Everything is cooked to perfection. The grilled octopus comes out perfectly charred and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The crawfish étouffée is loaded with tender crawfish in a rich, deeply seasoned sauce full of that classic Louisiana spice. And the roasted oysters are just downright addictive. A fantastic spot for anyone who loves coastal Southern cooking done right. They’re almost always packed, so booking a reservation is your best bet if you want to avoid a long wait. Even with the crowds, the service stays impressively quick and efficient, making the whole experience seamless.

Everything was delicious. Every single person was so kind and polite. This was my husband and I first time dining and I can’t wait to come back ! I cant remember our waiters name but he was such a gentleman with an accent. Maybe from the islands? You were amazing sir ! Thank you !

The food wasn’t bad. For the price, it was acceptable. However, I was disappointed with the service. The server never came to check on our table even once until we were almost finished with our meal. We ended up leaving with a not-so-great feeling.

Absolutely Outstanding Experience!

We had an amazing time dining at Pappadeaux’s! The steak was absolutely delicious — cooked to perfection, tender, and full of flavor. Every bite was better than the last. On top of that, the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. From start to finish, it was a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and exceptional service!

Nice Brand New Location!!! We enjoyed ourselves. The quality of food and atmosphere was better than the Windy Hill and Jimmy Carter Blvd locations. Salmon Alexander and Pasta Tella-something pasta (sorry forgot the name) it has grilled octopus in it…both meals were delicious . Seafood Fondue was good too…much better than at the Windy Hill location. 4 stars for service because the service was slow…it took 25 minutes to get our appetizers.

Made reservation through the website and the process was smooth. Got seated quickly upon arrival. Foods were a bit on the saltier side but overall, I would return to dine again.

Love this place. Consistently good, and good service. Had a 5:30 reservation, and we were seated immediately even though we were early.

We got the crawfish fondue (sinfully good!), oysters on the half shell (meh, just ok), Greek salad (outstanding, super fresh ingredients, delicious!), and Mississippi Catfish Opelousas (wonderful, very rich though).

Tyrese provided great and efficient service. Decent atmosphere, a bit loud. Recommended!!
