I ate here Friday March 6, at about 5 pm. Assembly hall wasn’t busy yet and as I was looking for food options, the smell of BBQ was nice so I thought I would try Honeyfire! I ordered a pulled pork barbecue sandwich with a side of green beans. The gentlemen that took the order and served the pork were attentive and they were expedient. I move over to the cashier who would tell me the total while she was looking elsewhere and never really had eye contact at all, which was very strange because there was nobody around. She seemed very dismissive. Seems like she would have rather been somewhere else when I was in front of her. Not nice, but OK so I sat down with my sandwich and my green beans. The meat in the sandwich was pretty good tasting, could have been warmer and the bun could’ve used some love. It was as if they just pulled it out of the package and threw it on the on the plate and it was a little cooler than room temperature and a bit firm on one edge. A little steaming, warmth, or maybe some preparation would’ve gone a long way on the overall sandwich. The green beans I could not finish. They had acquired a taste of something that didn’t taste like green beans. They were so overcooked that they were just like mush and I think what was supposed to maybe be bacon in them was unidentifiable. I was more than disappointed. A sandwich a side of green beans and a drink was around 20 bucks. I definitely expected better. I definitely will not repeat my experience there. It just was not satisfactory. When paying that kind of money for just a sandwich and a side and throwing some of it away not a good sense of my money. I will always seek good service, good food at a good price. I did not find it here.

First time visit to Assembly Hall and Honeyfire Bbq. Wow!!! Assembly Hall is amazing and the brisket and ribs from Honeyfire even more so! Looking forward to another visit so I can try something else …. Nope, it will be their awesome ribs and brisket for me again! Thanks for a great meal!

I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich and Mac and cheese. The brisket sandwich was okay, just mid. The Mac and cheese was HORRIBLE. It was way too expensive for what you were getting which is a tasteless, room temperature, thing. When I first approached this establishment I had the illusion it would be tasty and worth the price however upon further review the reality was quite disappointing. Also the employees did not listen at all, and we asked for a quart of a size and they just kept us moving.

At the assembly Hall, is tasty BBQ. Great bourbon bakd beans, and Mac and cheese. Pulled pork and brisket were very tasty. The wait was not long, and the service was quick. Lots of seats in assembly hall.

This is in the Assembly food hall. The queso mac was typical mac n’ cheese, but a little richer. The sandwich was really good with ranch. They had other BBQ options there.

THIS IS THE BEST BBQ IN NASHVILLE!!! The other places are like slop. Honeyfire has flavor, presentation and quality on lock. This is my go to spot for BBQ and I always bring out of town guests here.

I created my own plate with 2 meats, sliced brisket, and smoked chicken. I had the green beans and baked beans as sides. They also give you a slice of bread and pickles with your plate.
The star of the plate was definitely the meats. The brisket was perfectly done and moist. The chicken was slightly dry, but with the BBQ sauce, you wouldn’t notice much. The sides were mediocre for me. The green beans were mushy but flavorful. The baked beans were advertised as spicy but tasted just sweet to me.
The line looks long but moves quickly. The staff were friendly and kept things moving
I’d come here again.

Flew in for a work conference, but first BBQ! This place was amazing! Ordered 6 smoked wings in the dry rub, and kinda got stuck on if I should get the smoked sausage sandwich as I didn’t think I’d eat it all. One gentleman behind the sauce area asked if I wanted the sandwich because I could get just the sausage that they were going to put on it. That option saved me from stuffing my face in public because it was so good! Even went back and bought the sauce to bring back to OH. Warm and welcoming folks at this one! THANKS AGAIN!!

We came to the food hall looking for a solid lunch. after visiting every single food vendor, we decided to split an Alabama slammer sandwich and then split another sandwich from another vendor for a variety. Well, we ended up going back for another Alabama Slammer as it was SO good! It was totally amazing – highly recommend and the staff is outstanding as well. Looking forward to having another Alabama slammer when we come back to Nashville next time!
