Visited Central Creek for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the experience we had. Our waiter, Charles, was friendly, informative, and attentive. The atmosphere was intimate and cozy. Besides the environment, the food was some of the best I’ve had. I was impressed by the hushpuppies filled with crab, the “creek mack” burger, and the squid ink pasta. Everything was cooked perfectly, and it is made evident that the chef cares about the product and customer experience. If you visit Central Creek, you have to try the Crème Brûlée or the Pumpkin Roll. Also, the candied bacon garnished old fashion was awesome. I like attention to detail, and they definitely have it. We like to travel for good food, but I’m happy that I don’t have to with Central Creek in town.

Not for us… oysters were ok, never should have the hot sauce already on them. Some people like the taste of the oyster. The rest of the food just not good, but it had a price to it. The shrimp toast was a joke? I guess the shrimp was ground up or they forgot to put shrimp on it? Was the joke on us? The salmon was overcooked and not seasoned. We travel all over the country and eat at pricey establishments that are well worth it…This isn’t worth it.

Five stars all around, what a fun and friendly crew. Semi formal and sweet, feels like family whenever you’re there, they pay you with good drinks that you would like. And the food is super fresh! Rachel treated us so well.
They even let us put a custom Spotify playlist on, to slow dance to.

5+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a hard review. The potential for excellence is here. We’ve wanted to try for a while and finally made reservations. The food is good. If you want fine dining in Jackson, this spot or the flat iron group are about your only options. Our server tonight was awkward at best and I’ll leave it at that. I would recommend this spot for the appetizers of which any of the entrees would qualify as. This is more of a how’s the presentation, Come hungry leave hungry type of restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere for small talk. If you’ve already had dinner and want a spot for drinks and limited dessert menu, this is your spot.

Fantastic new restaurant. The ribeye special was phenomenal. Drinks were unique and tasty. Oysters were the best we have had in town. Our server Seth was knowledgeable, fun, and attentive. So glad to see a place like this in Jackson. Check it out!

I came for the Valentine’s 4-Course dinner. My 3rd visit to Central Creek. Let me begin by saying the food was delicious. The Kansas City Strip and the creamed spinach stood out. Was it worth $130 per person? I’m afraid not. When we were seated the server went over the courses. She told us the steak and the dessert were to be shared. This was the first I was told that. That should have been mentioned in the menu beforehand. For $130 I wasn’t expecting to share a steak. What if there was a table of three? Would they have brought out 1/2 a steak for the odd person? We didn’t say a thing. We ate our food and enjoyed our company. But, I will be leary of any pre fixe menu at Central Creek in the future.

Like Scott’s, it’s a difficult place to describe. Upon entering you’ll see the bar and a scattering of tables and an eclectic decor. The atmosphere is calm, not a bunch of noise beside the murmur of people at the tables, the music is held in the background and non-descript. Of course, we sat at the bar with a dozen or so seats and 2 bartenders. Our guy was normally a server but did a fine job bartending and explained clearly the items we asked about.
It’s obvious the focus here is on the food. The finest dining experience I’ve had in Jackson. Notably there was no salt or pepper offered or needed, eat it how it was designed. Our appetizer was the quail, oh my, a light golden (panko?) breading, deep fried and served with a grilled lemon, which seemed flavored with a balsamic or maybe just grill flavoring. All I know is it went perfectly on the quail. My entrée was the Snapper, which was explained to be flown in daily. Light and flaky with a wonderfully seared crust, it sat on a bed of creamed spinach, with grilled carrots stacked on the side. The portion was as you’d expect from fine dining, this is not a diner dish. My wife didn’t see the filet and got a Patty Melt, sans grilled onion, I know, making it a cheeseburger. The white bread they used was grilled with a perfect browning giving it an amazing flavor. In fact, I was so enamored with the taste of the bread I couldn’t tell you about the meat. Shoestring French Fries fried in tallow! In the end, it is worth the $100 and kinda cheap for one of our date nights.
They had my signature High Life and a decent selection of top shelf liquor. All in all, the experience was great. We will go back, besides the filet and Greek salad, I want to try the Chef’s Sampler, which for $90 per person, (requires entire table) gets you 5 courses of the chef’s choice. Let me know if you’re in.

Love Central Creek. I go there somewhat regularly because it’s one of the only places where the bartenders know how to make a good cocktail with intentionality. Also, they have an interesting wine menu. Not your standard grocery store wines. The food is delicious. The portions are perfect. I can see folks in the comments complaining about them, but a lot of people here are used to Outback, not a true upscale fine dining experience where portions are actually right sized. Anywhoo, so glad Jackson has such a beautiful space and delicious food and drinks. For a “cheaper” and fun night, I recommend sitting at the bar, ordering the frites, a few oysters, and the Chablis. You won’t be disappointed!

Wooozahhhh… no like WOW- I mean it. This place does not miss. Ambience ✅ Service ✅ Variety/Options ✅ Food Quality and TASTE ✅ ✅ ✅ Cocktails and drink options ✅

All I can say it thank you- this is the first date night my husband and I have had since having our baby boy over a year ago. And I will say it was most memorable. There couldn’t have been a better way to commemorate our first year as parents. And we feel incredibly guilty we didn’t get to share with him

But in all seriousness, go and you won’t be disappointed. I don’t think there’s one dish that you could order and it wouldn’t be the best you’ve ever had. This place seeps with true joy and passion. Mwah mwah mwah chef kiss and more
