My husband and I have found our Mexican place! We go once or twice a week!! The food is good and the service is good!!! Great place! Our favorite place to eat! My husband and I tried the fried fish tonight and it was really good!!! I think I have tried almost everything on the menu! Everything is great! Margaritas are very good!!! Greeted with a smile. Delicious food. Excellent wait staff. Refreshing House Margarita and Dos Equis beer! And …If you make it for HAPPY HOUR 4-7 PM every day of the week, drinks are $1.99. Flan for dessert is a big YUM! I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. While the big chains in Greenwood, SC, are closing, support this local small business; you’ll be glad you did!

7/28/2025- Update: Hubby and I returned to Lovo’s. We ordered steak fajitas for two and the food was just as good as the first trip. Hubby had Flan again for dessert; I had the fried ice cream; the presentation was beautiful and one of the best fried ice creams I have eaten.

It’s a rare gem where they have a lot of options, good service, and good food.
Visited with family and for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything we wanted on the menu. We were served promptly and efficiently throughout the meal.
Everyone loved this place and we will definitely be going back for more.

The fajitas here are great but otherwise, I feel like the portions here aren’t all they’re cracked up to be, especially for the price.
I feel like the service here was nice but they could definitely have been more clear and verified orders better because they just assumed that we wanted the Tex-Mex tacos rather than the street taco variant.
And even for the dinner portion, the plates don’t come with rice and beans, just one or the other. And their queso was just alright. I’d said their salsa was like 1/10 of a deseeded jalapeno in heat.

Genuinely the best tex-mex I’ve ever had. The person who greeted us and our server were both great, helpful and polite. The food was prepared well and presented nicely. I’ve got no complaints. We will 100% be back!

Surprisingly good food! Friendly and helpful staff. We were there at the same time as an adorable middle school girl’s ball team so the atmosphere was charged!! Second visit: quieter, but still good food, really nice staff. Owner said next time I’m a regular. Yay!
