Love this place! Often our go to on Friday night. Atmosphere is very chill. Get right in. Apps and rolls are AMAZING but can’t go wrong with anything ordered! We love to finish off with the Caramel fried ice cream! Will take pics next time!

Stopped in on a Saturday with a party of 4. The parking lot was crowded but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The Wasabi Love and Pink Lady cocktails were absolutely delicious. Our Pad Thai and Black Garlic Ramen were also very good. The service was very attentive without feeling intrusive, all drinks were continuously topped off. The portions seemed a little smaller than other Wasabi locations we’ve tried but we still had a great evening and good food.

Really great sushi for the Midwest. I stopped by during a business trip with zero expectations – I left pleasantly surprised! I have to stop in Des Moines a lot for work, so I’ll be returning… Maybe as soon as tomorrow!

Wasabi urbandale has a nice atmosphere. Love the decorations and fresh flowers. Our waitress was friendly, I think her name is sandy. We had sushi, rawmen, squid salad, and kimchi fried rice. Everything was good and sushi was good quality. I like the mix spring in my squid salad. The pork for the rawmen was a little bit salty for my taste, but the broth and the rawmen were very good. Food is 9/10 this time for me and the customer service is 10/10.

Ordered takeout. The service was good, no problems. Can’t really speak to the atmosphere of the restaurant but everything was packaged well.
The portions were a little off in my opinion- especially the rolls- and the food was just okay. We got the avocado and the philly. Both seemed pretty slim but the avocado roll pieces were comically small. They were the exactly same circumference as my water bottle lid. I eat a lot of sushi and have never seen mini sushi before lol
