I’ve been to Korea and we cook Korean food at home regularly, so I was excited to try Gangnam Grill after seeing so many strong Yelp reviews. After eating here, I found it pretty mediocre.

I ordered the beef bulgogi bibimbap. The meat lacked depth and flavor, the rice was just okay, and overall the dish felt bland and toned down. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either.

If this is your first experience with Korean food, you might enjoy it. If you’re used to more traditional or bold Korean flavors, this may feel underwhelming. Not terrible, just not something I’d go out of my way for again.

The food was pretty good! It’s not your typical host/hostess setting but instead, you order via QR code which isn’t terrible. But rather have a person to person contact. Other than that, very good restaurant. Perfect for dates, hangout, etc.

I gave the service a 3 because no one ever spoke to us until someone brought our food and drinks. Even then he was just telling us what each bowl was. When you walk in you have to find a table and scan a QR code to order and pay for your food. There is also an option to order at the counter.
The food was really flavorful and delicious, and we loved the atmosphere. It is a bit pricey for a lunch for four people, but all the downtown restaurants are.

This establishment is clean, cozy and inviting! The food is so fresh and delicious. I had a goji bowl with beef bulgogi, steam rice, carrots, cucumbers and shitake mushrooms. This was topped with honey wasabi that I asked to have in a separate container. The pairings did not disappoint and the portions are generous.

Had a delicious lunch here!! A more modern Korean restaurant but great flavors. Everything tasted delicious and fresh. You order at the counter, grab your own drink, and then they’ll bring the food to your table. Served in convenient containers to take left overs with you. Staff was very kind and patient. Will definitely be back to try more!! We had the create your own, shrimp, and classic Bibimbop and an order of pork dumplings, all delicious!

I’ve made a routine of going there on Saturday’s. Food is great and very affordable! I recommend the bimbimbaps and the kimchi fried rice, and you should try the sauces!

Stopped in today and had the Gogi bowl with spicy pork, julienne carrots and cucumber on a bed of steamed rice and broccoli. I have to say, it was so good. The meat was tender and flavored perfectly. The hint of spicy with the cool cucumbers and carrots was very good. If you’re thinking about stopping in for a bite, do!

We’re so glad we stumbled upon Gangnam Grill—had no idea it was here, but now we’re definitely fans! The service was awesome—super friendly and quick—and the place is really clean with a cool, modern vibe.

It’s not your typical Korean restaurant, but it’s a great spot if you’re craving something flavorful and fast. The beef bulgogi was delicious and super tasty, and the spicy pork bulgogi had just the right amount of heat—not too much, but enough to give it a nice kick.

I saw someone mention the prices being high, but honestly, we thought they were totally reasonable for the portion sizes and quality. You’re getting a solid meal for a fair price.

We’ll definitely be back soon—so glad we gave it a shot!

Food was okay, not the best korean ive had, but it does a good enough job especially for people just getting into the cuisine for the first time. Kimchi fried rice was not spicy at all, but was not bad. The L.A. Galbi was as tasty as ever. The fried chicken – I’m not a fan vs. the standard Korean fried chicken I’m used to

I read about this place and decided to check it out. My boyfriend and I were not disappointed. The shrimp with glass noodles was delicious! The dumplings were quite good as well. We can’t wait to go back and try some of the other food on the menu.
