The country tavern is a small town bar with great service. Excellent burgers, my favorite is the gets burger. Grilled cheese with a burger and bacon. They have a very creative special board. It’s a no frills tavern with great drinks and an owner who stays on top of the best beers on tap. Family friendly at lunch and dinner. Party after that. They have band nights, and motorcycle rides for charity,as well as fund risers for people in need. Over all its a nice place to be.

Quick drinks, one of the best burgers I’ve had in years, and an incredibly entertaining display of live music on Sunday night. If you have any talent, get in touch with Andrew. If you don’t, go watch the others perform, shoot some pool, or just shoot the shit with your friends. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re just visiting. I stopped for lunch while on a long drive. I had the Frank’s burger with no tomato. It’s a big burger. I skipped dinner that night. Good food and friendly atmosphere. Seems like a popular stop for locals, everyone else there knew each other but was still welcoming to visitors. I would eat here again if I was in the area. I had a nice IPA too but can’t remember the name.

My friend and I were feeling adventurous on a Wednesday afternoon, and we got all we could handle. The bar, the atmosphere, everything was incredible.

Very comfortable laid back place. Usually locals that frequent the place. Staff is very friendly. Monday nights Joel is there and they have live music. His wife is one of the singers and she is amazing.

Not sure why some people call this place a dive. I think they use the term too loosely because they haven’t been to an actual dive. You usually don’t see dive bars in areas where the houses across the street sell for over 700k. I found the Country Tavern to be charming with a clean, well kept interior that is comfortable and relaxing and their menu offers up – some really good down to earth and delicious comfort food. I just had my 2nd meal there so I wanted to give them my thanks. Their burgers are among the best I’ve had… period. I really like their hot wings as well and french fries are great. They had a really good mix of clientele both nights we were there. It was a festive party atmosphere with good food and good service. Not a bad place to be on a Saturday night.
