A true gem in the lovely town of Piermont. Expertly prepared authentic Italian cuisine in an inviting rustic atmosphere. All dishes highlight the use of fine ingredients and special touches such as fresh rosemary and roasted garlic. Visit off hours and you can linger alongside the wood burning oven and be transported to Italy.

I met a girlfriend here for dinner and it was delightful. We started with the calamari and the pizza dough with prosciutto (both delicious). I had the chicken parm which was very good, I just wish it was a little crispier. Such a cozy atmosphere – it’s tiny, but that’s what gives it charm.

From the moment you walk into Trattoria da Vittorio, you feel transported. The staff is warm, attentive, and truly admirable in how much pride they take in everything — from food to service. This place works for every occasion: a romantic date, a family celebration, or a night out with friends.
We tried a little of everything, and every bite was perfection.
• The pizza with its wood-fired crust was incredible — crispy yet chewy, topped with the freshest ingredients.
• The calamari was tender, lightly fried, and bursting with flavor.
• The mussels were unbelievably fresh — briny, delicate, and perfectly cooked.
• The rigatoni with shrimp in cream sauce was decadent, rich, and full of depth.
• The dry-aged Tomahawk steak? Absolutely out of this world — melt-in-your-mouth perfection.
• The whole grilled fish was cooked beautifully, simple and fresh.
And the desserts… wow. Out of this world! I tried them all — the ricotta cheesecake and the pistachio semifreddo were standouts.
On weekends, they even offer $5 drink specials, which is an incredible value for a restaurant of this caliber.

I had such a wonderful experience at Trattoria Da Vittorio and I truly can’t say enough great things about this place. A very good friend of mine recommended it to me, and from the moment I walked in, I understood why. The customer service was absolutely amazing I was treated with so much kindness and warmth, which instantly made me feel welcome. The atmosphere was beautiful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was beyond spectacular every single dish that came out was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. You can truly taste the quality and care that goes into every plate. Everything we ordered was delicious, and nothing disappointed. This is definitely a five star experience all around. I highly recommend coming here for a date night, a family dinner, or even a special occasion. The staff is incredibly friendly and sweet, the food is outstanding, and the overall experience is one I can’t wait to repeat. I will absolutely be coming back!

Amazing experience! The atmosphere is so intimate and cute. The food was delicious and our waiter Joe was awesome! Cocktails were on point too. It’s always a plus when a restaurant has blue cheese olives for dirty martinis 😉 This definitely isn’t your ordinary Italian restaurant and felt very special, as if we were actually in Italy! Can’t wait to go back!!

Vittorio, who also owns Lanni’s in Sparkill, is a wonderful host. Drinks are generous. Wines are reasonably priced. Servers are knowledgeable and fun—especially Igor. Pastas, pizzas, meats and cheeses are all excellent. A favorite place.

Forget the negative reviews! This place just opened, and like any new project, there’s always room for improvement as time goes on. I saw some reviews and thought, Let me check it out myself, because sometimes people write reviews from a very personal perspective. I gave it a try, and I have to say, I’ll DEFINITELY be back.
The food was INCREDIBLE. The ambiance truly feels like being in Italy. I didn’t take a picture of the pizza, but let me tell you, it’s wood-fired and absolutely authentic. We were a large group, and every single one of us left beyond satisfied.
The staff was amazing, especially one gentleman who seemed to be the head server—I wish I remembered his name. Also, the bathroom was super clean and beautifully decorated, which, for me, is an absolute MUST in any restaurant.

Firstly, I have never written a bad review, and like to give people the benefit of doubt.
I have eaten here 5 times. The food , owner, wait staff have all been wonderful. The head hostess has become more and more abrupt as time has passed. Upon entering she reminded us strongly that we had to be out within 1.5 hrs to seat the next guests as they don’t take reservations for 2, no welcome or smile, and we hadn’t even walked complete in yet. We thought about turning around and leaving. But we decided to stay. The waiter came over after we were seated and said don’t worry you have plenty of time, just relax and enjoy. That was reassuring. He noticed the music was too loud as it was overhead and asked to lower it. We ordered our food and had a bottle of wine. The music suddenly got loud again and my date kindly went over and asked them to lower it. As he walked away the hostess loudly berated him for asking. Towards the end the owner came over and reminded us of the time limit and quickly rushed us out. The adjacent table was stunned as we were as well after dropping over 250 on dinner. The pressure to get out before you get in is unacceptable especially since it has happened multiple times. I have learned my lesson. I will never return. They should consider having reservations for 2! But I guess they make more money on 4 tops.

Food is absolutely delicious. Vittorio always makes you feel welcome and his restaurants are absolute gems in Rockland.

Enjoy a lovely Italian meal in Piermont! We had the Zucchini Flowers and Fusilloni alla vodka which had a slight kick to it, and both meals were delicious. We tried the Fragolina cocktail, which was had a sweet bitter base. It had a cute atmosphere, as we sat outside (although a bit tight). The staff was incredibly friendly.
