Be prepared to order in Spanish… bring your Google translate with you.

We order the balayadas. My favorite is the balayada with chorizo. Trust me. It’s divine.

This is just me… I don’t care for the music videos they show. The music is great, but the content of the music videos is not fitting to my personal conservative preferences. We still take our young boys, but train them not to watch the screens.

First time here. I had their version of chicken enchiladas. They were amazing. The food took awhile to arrive, but tasted great.

The quality of the food is great, but the service is the worst. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed, but this is the second time our food has taken more than an hour to arrive — and even worse, when it finally does, it’s cold and comes out one item at a time.

The waitress are rude if you are not from honduras. Plus i ordered a fried fish and they didnt clean the fish because it smelled horrible (like swamp water). Then the waitress stole her tip out of our change after we left her a tip on the table. Will never be back.

The food was ok. The baleada had more cheese than anything else. The waitress was nice.

Side comment: There was an old man who was outside at one of the tables. We didn’t think much of it until he came into the restaurant. Then pressed play on the TV. Then went behind the bar and started drinking. If he is the owner or an employee he should not be drinking on the job. But that’s just my opinion

Super nice local spot. Tried the fried whole fish, so good! The pickled veggies went great with it. Service was amazing, too! The owner stopped by our table to check on us, very nice guy. Will definitely be back.

So. Good!!! Astri was our server and she was incredibly sweet and patient and helped direct us to what we should try. It did not disappoint. We got the pollo frito, carne asada, and a huevo y pollo baleada it was all phenomenal (although I think the pollo frito was my favorite)!

I thought it would be good because of the appealing pictures and good reviews, but it really wasn’t. It was located hiding in the corner of the plaza. Our server couldn’t speak English very well. My husband is fluent in Spanish but I guess there was still come confusion because she brought us something we didn’t order.

I pointed to a picture and asked what it was then said I’d like to order that. She still brought out something that looked nothing like what was in the picture.

I also ordered water with lemon but it didn’t come with lemon.

No fried rice offered.

Overall wasn’t impressed.

As someone who personally is Honduran this place was phenomenal. It was like I was eating a meal my grandmother had prepared. The server was insanely friendly and after overhearing that my father was from Honduras engaged conversation! I definitely recommend trying a baleda, tajadas de carna asada, and the Jamaica. The inside is very cute and homie, the service made it even better! Please try them out and encourage a local business.
