If you do happen to get an order in… the food is like any other hibachi place… no complaints there.
They said the food taste good but this is ridiculous.
They have an online menu that was pretty easy to follow and ordering was a breeze. Price wise I thought it was a bit overpriced but I figured everything is overpriced today, eggs are $4 a dozen, sorry I strayed from the Poke.
I picked up all my food, chicken and salmon, salmon and scallops and shrimp yakisoba.
The hibachi combination came with cooked carrots, cooked vegetables(zucchini and mushrooms), fried rice and a small soup. The soup was light and actually tasted good, it was quite easy for me to chug it down. That was the highlight of the meal ! The rice seemed as if it was good rice, it had good texture but it seemed as if soy sauce was the only thing added to make it fried rice – I was not impressed with the fried in the fried rice.
Chicken and salmon’s was sweet and too much salt I was not at all happy with taste and so was the rest of my family. The salmon was also over cooked and hard on the edges. The carrots were way overcooked and it was sugar high, not my type of sweet carrot.
Now I give my opinion, my taste buds just maybe working different from other patrons and by no means am I an expert at cooking, maybe a culinary professional might devour this meal and believe it is the best thing since sliced bread, for me it was mediocre at best.
Positive side is that my son enjoyed the yakisoba, I didn’t taste it but since he spent some years in Japan I took his word that it was good.
This is a new place so I know that some times it take a while for a restaurant to operate like a well oiled machine, for now I will have to stay away. If they last for a year I will go back and try again.
I gave 3 stars because of my son’s position comment and the soup. Good luck with this enterprise.
