Kobe has amazing food! Nothing better then ordering on the way home for an amazing dinner. Super friendly staff that always remembers to not add onions to my order.

I used to work in restaurants… while we didn’t like it, we took customers in up until our listed close hours. This place turns their phone off 5 minutes before close so they don’t have to accept any orders near close time. I guess they are successful enough to turn customers away.

If you do happen to get an order in… the food is like any other hibachi place… no complaints there.

Clean kitchen, food is amazing. Especially the carrots. And the yum yum sauce is great too. They have been in this spot for quite a while now and I’ve only just recently finally stopped in and tried it. It’s fantastic.

My wife likes this place. They always tend to over cook the protein. Today ordered for wife and oldest son. They both got the steak meal. $14.99 for 1/4 of a thin ny strip cut into small pieces. Terrible. I will be ordering elsewhere from now on.

They said the food taste good but this is ridiculous.

The food was great! I really loved the sweet carrots, and the hibachi was especially tasty. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. I’d definitely come back again!

New place in Bayside Lakes and I was excited to try some Kobe and Poke on a Saturday evening.
They have an online menu that was pretty easy to follow and ordering was a breeze. Price wise I thought it was a bit overpriced but I figured everything is overpriced today, eggs are $4 a dozen, sorry I strayed from the Poke.
I picked up all my food, chicken and salmon, salmon and scallops and shrimp yakisoba.
The hibachi combination came with cooked carrots, cooked vegetables(zucchini and mushrooms), fried rice and a small soup. The soup was light and actually tasted good, it was quite easy for me to chug it down. That was the highlight of the meal ! The rice seemed as if it was good rice, it had good texture but it seemed as if soy sauce was the only thing added to make it fried rice – I was not impressed with the fried in the fried rice.
Chicken and salmon’s was sweet and too much salt I was not at all happy with taste and so was the rest of my family. The salmon was also over cooked and hard on the edges. The carrots were way overcooked and it was sugar high, not my type of sweet carrot.
Now I give my opinion, my taste buds just maybe working different from other patrons and by no means am I an expert at cooking, maybe a culinary professional might devour this meal and believe it is the best thing since sliced bread, for me it was mediocre at best.
Positive side is that my son enjoyed the yakisoba, I didn’t taste it but since he spent some years in Japan I took his word that it was good.
This is a new place so I know that some times it take a while for a restaurant to operate like a well oiled machine, for now I will have to stay away. If they last for a year I will go back and try again.
I gave 3 stars because of my son’s position comment and the soup. Good luck with this enterprise.

It’s always disappointing when people cheat you out of expensive food. This was $18 worth of fried rice. They bulk the plate up with rice and these huge carrots. Barely any steam vegetables and meat. I don’t like being robbed , I like to get what I pay for. I should have gone to Popeyes and I would have had a much more satisfying meal and paid significantly less. As for me, they will never see me back through their door and that’s a fact.

Have gotten some food from Kobe Express a few times now and each time I am left full and satisfied. The meals are more than enough for a lunch and dinner. The gyoza was fresh and hot. They pack soup in with the meals and it is refreshing to have a soup with the hefty meals they make! The staff are curtious and get meals out in a timely manner. I have also used the online system and worked well when I have used it. Order was correct and had no issues during pick up! Highly recommend if you are tired of the same things in the Bayside area! 5/5

This unassuming poke and hibachi spot is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the Publix Bayside Plaza, Kobe Express has impressed me with both their fresh poke bowls, flavorful shrimp yakisoba, and quick made to order service. Seating is limited, so it’s best for takeout or delivery, but with great food and plenty of easy parking, I’ll definitely be returning.
