We recently held a celebration of life for my dad at Green Haven Golf Course and Tavern this past November, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and the experience. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to help us prepare the space and make sure everything was just right for our family and friends.
They were attentive, compassionate, and always available to answer any questions we had. They brought in extra chairs without hesitation, ensured the room was set up beautifully, and even provided additional food when we needed it. The food itself was delicious, and the wait staff truly exceeded our expectations with their kindness and exceptional service.
In a difficult time, the staff at Green Haven made the day feel comfortable, supported, and meaningful. We are incredibly grateful for their care and professionalism. Highly recommend.

Came for the All You Can Eat Crab legs. For AYCEC and $70, it was not worth it. The waitress did say the kitchen was struggling to keep up. We did tell her we eat them quick and could put another order in when she brings the plate to the table but she said we have to eat them first(2 clusters a plate), that’s fine. But to wait 7-15 minutes for each plate in between was insane. Then 3x after the first plate we got scraps lol literally like a claw, broken pieces etc. and they were so watered down and not good at all! You need to ask for more butter/fresh if you like it hot with each plate. It came with salad or soup and hash browns or mashed potatoes. Then a bun and green beans. Probably will not go back for $70 but at least my first 2 clusters were edible . Maybe they need a new chef?! Not sure but never had crab taste like that! Anyways this is my experience. Giving 3 stars because the waitress was nice.

Decided to try the restaurant for something different, we will not be back! My daughter ordered the kids mini corn dogs. They came out almost black from being over cooked. My chicken club was ok, the bacon was so over cooked I had to take it off the sandwich, it tore up the roof of my mouth. The fries were soggy. None of us finished our food. Disappointing considering it’s at a golf course.

Friday night dinner with Mom. She had the all you can eat crab legs with a Long Island iced tea. I had the Tavern old fashioned with a side salad and ribeye steak and sides.
Good service and food was fresh,tasty and cooked perfectly. The old fashioned was a little too sweet,cloudy and couldn’t taste any alcohol in it.

I came here for the all you can eat crab legs, and they delivered. It was $70 and totally worth it for me personally even though I “only” ate two plates. It came with an appetizer and sides too! I got the creamy chicken and wild rice soup, garlic mashed potatoes, and green beans. It was totally worth eating them alongside my crab legs.

We just had our wedding at Greenhaven in fall 2021 (postponed from 2020 due to pandemic). Beautiful, flexible and very reasonably priced, all around. We needed a place that could fit our 250+ guest list. Greenhaven delivered, and then some. We haven’t yet received all our wedding photos (and I’ll update my review when we do), but the space (indoors and out) is gorgeous. Exposed beams, draping and more.
The owners are very kind, and the event coordinator Alex was stellar, answering all my laundry list emails, when I am certain another venue would have been so fed up with all my questions. So much was included – arch for ceremony, setup, getting ready area. They was able to accommodate many dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, severe peanut allergy), which was also very important to us. They also were incredibly accommodating to move our wedding out a year with no issues, due to Covid concerns. Guests had nothing but good things to say about the meal and venue. I honestly will come back over and over again for the alfredo sauce and stuffed mushrooms, they’re amazing!

My wife and I thought we’d give the restaurant a try for our first time. Unfortunately we won’t be back. We ordered milk for our daughter and she mentioned she didn’t like it so my wife and I tried it to make sure and it tasted like fish, 100% certain it was spoiled. Most of the kids meals from their kids menu are 10 dollars. No matter what establishment it is I think 10 dollars is a bit much for a kids meal. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich which was a little tough to chew and pretty flavorless, the fries were terrible, I didn’t eat more than 4 of them and either did my kids or wife. With 2 beers and a tip I wish I could get our 73 dollars back.

Chef for the win! You can tell they have a chef preparing their dinners. The food is perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned and fresh! The staff is adjusting to changes and getting into the swing of things. The setting is pleasant and peaceful with a beautiful view. I love the patio.
