Wow, so super yummy! That Mac & Cheese really filled me up, and the braised ribs… wow, melt in your mouth.

This place is right off the highway. Call and make a reservation when you’re 30 minutes out. Skip Burlington or Montpelier and come here! Want to really enjoy your hard-earned meal? Fast service, so yummy, perfect for a Saturday, Sunday, or an evening in Y.

Enjoy!

This was a no for us.

Food was meh. Egg undercooked on benny, muffin overcooked, ham was way too thick and chewy. Coffee came with disposable creamer packets which seemed weird. Husband ordered hunters bfast, his eggs were way overcooked and same thick chewy ham steak. Our son’s pancakes were nice and fluffy so there’s that but he didn’t like the chocolate milk, said it was bitter. After tasting it seems like use dark chocolate or something similar which just didn’t taste good.

Ambiance was awkward, I get that it’s an old house but it just didn’t vibe. Service was pleasant.

Stopped here and sat at the bar for my husband’s birthday. Our bartender was excellent, she was attentive, super welcoming, made great drinks, and even put a little candle in my husband’s dessert. I had the salmon which was delicious, he got a perfectly cooked pork chop. If we find ourselves back in Richmond we will definitely be back in.

A wonderful, charming restaurant right off I-89 in between Richmond and Williston, you’d never know The Kitchen Table was there unless you took the exit! This restaurant is located in an old brick house with beautiful landscaping, and it has a great atmosphere, excellent service, and amazing food! They use fresh, local ingredients, and they rotate their menu several times throughout the year. There are always great specials, so be sure to ask your waiter/waitress what they are!

They have amazing fresh dinner rolls to start, and we got the heirloom tomato burrata and a salad with mozzarella and fresh local berries as our appetizers. The heirloom tomatoes were the best we’ve ever had – huge and beautiful, and the salad was exceptionally fresh! We got the beer braised short ribs as our entree and that was awesome. It didn’t have a bone, but it was so tender if it did have one, it would be completely fall-off-the-bone. They make amazing Brussels sprouts that come with the short ribs as well!!

BE SURE to save room for dessert! They have really really good dessert options, and we got the Matilda cake (a massive chocolate cake inspired by that one scene in the movie), crème caramel, and dark chocolate coconut tart. The crème caramel was actually our favorite – one of the best desserts we’ve had anywhere in Vermont! All in all, this is an amazing local place, perfect for celebrating any occasion, or just for a nice date night. Check it out!!

If you are even remotely close to this place GO! The food is insanely delicious. The quality and attention to detail in the food is top tier. The atmosphere is romantic, cozy and all the things you want. You can tell everyone loves working there and loves the food and takes pride in their work. I can’t rave enough about the quality of ingredients. The short ribs are a must, a religious experience in your mouth. But make sure to save room for dessert because chef Sam has put her heart and soul into it.

In a small town right off interstate 89, is a gem of a restaurant. In an unassuming, renovated old farmhouse is The Kitchen Table. This cozy restaurant offers top notch food and drink.

We started with poutine topped with short ribs. It was fantastic!! Could have been a full meal. I had the warm rice bowl topped with short rib, my dinning companions had the schnitzel and the catch of the day.

All of the food was great and I would definitely recommend trying this great place. Reservations are recommended.

The Kitchen Table has become one of our go to spots. The food is always good and the atmosphere is just what you’re looking for if you don’t want to eat in downtown Burlington. The service is spotty – never bad but sometimes excellent. The rotating menu makes revisiting well worth your while.

Excellent service, food, and cocktails! The bartender was super helpful and knowledgeable while we chose cocktails. I even got just a simple ceaser salad with grilled chicken and it was honestly the best one I’d ever had. My husband got their classic burger and he really enjoyed it, and he’s a huge fan of their thinner cut fries. They did a great job, and have a great selection of items on their menu without being too long or too short with their amount of options. Overall a great experience!

From the moment you step inside, the welcoming warmth of Kitchen Table wraps around you like a soft blanket. Truly a hidden gem! The soft lighting and rustic décor, with wooden tables and vintage touches, create a cozy ambiance that makes it perfect for both a casual dinner or a more intimate celebration.
But it’s not just the ambiance that makes this place stand out—it’s the food. If you’re a fan of farm-to-table dining, this restaurant delivers in a big way. The appetizers alone are worth the visit.
As we sipped on our drinks (the cocktails here are on point), the main event arrived, but honestly, those appetizers could have been the entire meal.

The farm-to-table concept shines through in every bite, showcasing local ingredients that elevate each dish to something special. The menu changes seasonally, so there’s always something new to try, but no matter what you order, you’re guaranteed a meal that’s not just delicious but thoughtfully sourced.

In a world of over-the-top, trendy restaurants, Kitchen Table keeps it simple, and that’s what makes it so delightful. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick appetizer or a full-on feast, this cozy spot is sure to leave you feeling satisfied and well taken care of. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy great food, a laid-back vibe, and a taste of what’s in season.

Had a very “meh” experience. Cocktails were good. Winter citrus salad lacked much flavor somehow? And the honey roasted carrots were burnt, there were only a couple edible ones on the plate. My rice bowl was okay- my husband ordered steak and they were out of butter? He said it was “eh, fine.” Best part of our meal was the chai martini. For what this place costs, probably won’t be back.
