Food is good so far except the chicharron..very fatty and low meat portions. It is not thick at all look more like nuggets. Pre cooked. The waitress is one person so be ready for.slow service as she attends to all areas of the restaurant. She does 4 jobs in one. But pleasant to talk to. Atmosphere is your typical bakery style setting. The patacones with the sauce are the bomb.

Food was okay, waitress was extremely nice, great service, and was very quick working on her own. The man at the front who l believe is the owner is what I am giving a one star rating. This man kept staring at my husband and I as we ate the entire time we were there which is extremely uncomfortable. The prices are much more expensive than where we usually go with less food. When I was ready to pay, they did not inform they would charge me more when using my card. We will not be returning. This place is a scam and the owner is overcharging without letting their customers know. Legally customers should be aware that there will be an extra charge to use cards which I can confidently say because I worked in customer service as well as book keeping. If you want to keep your customers, lower your prices or make the customers aware that they will be charged extra when using their card. I recommend visiting “Fonda Colombiana” they have cheaper prices for more food and better quality.

Went to pickup and they charged $53. Reason? $2 extra per item for takeout. $2 PER ITEM! Who runs a business like this?
Do not give them your credit card unless you can see the amount on the payment terminal, which you won’t because the owner takes your card and doesn’t show you the final amount.

It is an exotic place for an average American customer. No English menu, and our waiter didn’t speak English. We waited for a half an hour for our order, but the food was great and the flavor felt very authentic. Even though our waiter didn’t speak English, she used google translate to communicate and was very nice.
We had oxtails (superb) and churrosco, which is a huge portion of steak (good, but a bit stiff). Make sure to bring cash for tipping, as we were not offered to add tips when paying with a card.
One thing I want to mention is that the music was way too loud.

Went here tonight on a whim. The service was ok at best. We were a party of 3, ordered a water and 2 Colombian beers. The server (owner?) gave us our beers and a peligrino for the water, when we tried to switch to a free water, he gave us a regular bottle of water instead so forcing us to pay for water. He kept practically running away after doing one thing for the table. The food came and it was delicious! But when it came time for the check we were overcharged about $30!!! Be careful of being ripped off or taken advantage of here.

I give it a low rating because I ordered a horse steak and the eggs that came with it had a hair on it. We were 6 people and the same thing happened with my friend’s order. Her food also had a hair on it. I don’t know if it was a coincidence or just I put the same egg on that plate she ordered a paisa tray we ordered coffee and it didn’t arrive until we had finished eating and it was still cold the truth was it was a very bad experience and to make matters worse it seems that the person who cooked was the owner of the place that horror I don’t want to imagine if the waiter had been any other employee I’m sorry but we won’t go back to that place
