The food was delicious. We had the sesame chicken and the triple delight. We made it into the lunch special with the eggroll and hot and sour soup. Everything was great. The vegetables tasted very fresh, and they were cooked perfectly. We’ll definitely be back.

If you have yet to try Sunny’s Stir Fry, get on it, it’s delicious! I chose the Moo goo chicken lunch special with spicy sauce, hot and sour soup, fried rice, and an egg roll. All ingredients are fresh, portions are perfect, the seasonings are amazing….the best I’ve had! Try it today, and pass the word.

We have been wanting to try Sunny’s as soon as we heard it was the same family making the classic recipes we enjoyed years ago at Shanghai restaurant. Very friendly service and the food was excellent. I have missed their hot and sour soup all these years. It is even better than I remember. The crab rangoon were huge. The spicy garlic pork with green beans, General Tso’s chicken and fried rice topped it all off. Portions were large so it made two meals for us.

EXCELLENT! We have been slowly trying to replace Formosa and trying the various Chinese restaurants around Fayetteville. But it has been one disappointment after another, UNTIL tonight. The food from Sunny’s Stir Fry was delicious and aromatic ! Veggies cook to just right crunch meats tender and the Fried tofu very yum!!! Flavors right on.
Wish portions were a bit bigger but it’s okay, food was delicious and we will be back sooner than later!

Great spot for Chinese food. Best in this area. We ordered 6 main dishes as well as egg rolls. General Tso’s chicken was excellent. Great sauce. Not gloopy or over-battered. Spicy chicken stir-fry was fabulous. Fried rice seemed a little under-seasoned. Egg rolls were on the small side, but they were crispy and not expensive. Very friendly staff/owners. Eager to come back and try other dishes.

I’m had the tofu family style and it was delicious. Fresh, flavorful and prepared quickly. The location is convenient to most of Fayetteville, and staff are warm and friendly. Top notch experience.

Our food was delicious. We had the hot n sour soup, the catfish in black bean sauce and the moo goo pork. All very savory and tasty. Best part: there wasn’t a quart of sauce on the dish, just enough to bring all the flavors together. Highly recommend.

Love the place! Visited at the 3-week mark. I had the General Tso’s, and my wife enjoyed the chicken and shrimp combo rice. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy. Very solid place!

The entrees were pretty tasty all around! General Tso’s chicken was my tables favorite, followed by the green beans w/pork. The prices were reasonable, decent seating, service was great. If I had any suggestions, it would be some flavor adjustments to the appetizers. The dumplings could use more veggies and seasoning – you can tell they’re freshly folded dumplings, but they’re pretty one note dense pork, and the wonton soup could use more flavor and filling. The crab Rangoon was packed full and cooked well but also could use some additional sweetness and more green onion.
Overall I’m really pleased for more Chinese food options in the area and excited to come back to try more of the menu.

If you were a fan of Shanghai Chinese restaurant in the 90’s, then this is the place for you! Jeff Shen has brought back some the original favorites like Triple Delight and General Tso’s chicken not to mention their unrivaled hot and sour soup and Crab Rangoon. My wife and I ate there last night and the food was excellent and spot on!
Jeff visited with us and assured us they will be bringing back some fan favorites like their Pork Garlic Sauce in the future!
