The entrees that we got were good, but the girl at the register needs to be retrained because she had no idea what she was doing. We went in and asked if we could get our meals with a side of lo mein instead of rice since me and my husband do not really like to eat rice. She said that we could and finished our order. They brought us out our food and we got in our car expecting to enjoy our meal. Boy was I wrong. We opened up our food to find 2 containers of bland noodles that the cashier rung us up for instead of the sides of lo mein that we ordered. You would think that someone who works at a Chinese restaurant would know the difference between lo mein and random bland noodles. Please teach your staff better

Dined with two, ordered 2 appetizers 2 entrees, side of veggies. Everything was delicious. It came out very quickly and service was excellent. My only complaint was that the mens restroom only had one commode out of two stalls I’m hoping they are just waiting for the other one to be reinstalled.

No more chicken breast anymore. Instead it is stringy dark thigh meat. Overcooked. Ordered sesame chicken, no sesame on the chicken at all. Wanted to add pineapple, no pineapple anymore. The quality and variety of ingredients are no longer what it once was, but the prices are higher. No actual plates for indoor dining. Kind of got a clue when I pulled up to the parking lot at noon and what was once a bustling busy place is now empty. All things must pass I guess.

Seems like Pei-wei has changed a lot post-pandemic. I was a regular customer before 2020 and they served some really good food with good quantity. But last 2,3 times I visited them- was disappointed. First of all, they still serve in to-go plastic ware. Not sure why they still do that wen all other restaurants have switched back to glass-ware(I could understand plastic wares for dine-in during pandemic but now they should go to glass-ware) This time I ordered pad-thai and it used to have large quantity(enuf for 2 people) and the cost was 8.99. Now they reduced the quantity and increased the price to $10.99. Flavor was just ok. It used to be awesome but now its more sweet and all. I hope pei-wei will return to its old glory.

My family and I used to LOVE Pei Wei. Was one of our top places to go after church or for business lunches. I don’t know what happened, but over the last year or so the food quality has dropped dramatically. For example, what happened to real white meat (chicken breast), the quality of vegetables, sauce flavors have changed (and not for the better.)
I know it isn’t a necessity, but before there were real plates and utensils, which made it “feel” a little nicer. Basically it is now the same or slightly worse than Panda Express.
Obviously, the corporate office has cut so many corners it is way to obvious for regular customers not to notice. And prices went up for much less quality of food. Shame…

My wife texted me at 5pm and said she brought home some Chinese for me to try. When I got home after work at 10pm, the food was in this huge container. Of course it was cold when I got to it. I sampled the orange chicken and didn’t even bother to heat it up. (It was that good). Definitely going to try dinning in soon. This is way better than that fancy place in Utica square.

Very clean place and nice hostess ! Didn’t get a normal plate here but ate out of a to go type plastic plate with a lid. Maybe coronavirus protectiveness. You wear a mask until you sit to eat and then can remove it. Thankful that they were open to eat !!

Our usual Pei Wei on S. Memorial wasn’t going to open till noon today (8-9-23) unforseen situation came up.
Ok, I’ll call he one on
S Yale in Kings Point and place an order for pickup.
The lady on the phone was most delightful, kind, asked questions even repeated my order. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I arrive and everything is ready to go and once again the lady I spoke with was also the lady who checked me out. Again, kiddos to her!
I ordered my Kung Pao chicken extra spicy w brown rice, than a regular shrimp Kung Pao with fried rice and General Tso with fried rice.
The ticket reflected my order to the T!
Needless to say both Kung Pao and were extra spicy, I took off the lids and the shrimp was covered in hot red peppers pieces like my chicken. I did get brown rice and the General Tso also had brown rice . My chicken was so dried out that it came apart in strings. And no sauce.
I guess the line cooks were having an off day!
I had a coupon for 50%off second entree, but was disappointed in the food.
Next time I will wait for the one on Memorial to open or just not eat pei Wei’s that day
Alex, I hope everything is okay at your location now.

Yeah, it was okay. We used to have a Pei Wei in our hometown, but they all closed. We were excited when we found this location for dinner. Pandemic Pei Wei is very different than I remember. Everything is now disposable, which I get. The experience wasn’t what I remembered from other locations in the past. The kids portions had maybe 4-5 small pieces of chicken with a lot of rice or noodles which surprised me. The flavor was nice and the service okay. I like it more than most Asian quick service restaurants. It’s nice to have in the mix if you are looking for something to mix it up.
