Went in at about 2pm, place was completely empty. Our host kindly greeted us and sat us, then she became our waitress and took our orders. After placing a drink order, she became our bartender and served a $12 drink half full. Seemed as though there were no other staff working. Menu items are way over priced, considering the quality. Ordered the Chicken Piccata and I have never ever had Chicken Piccata in soup form. wow. Pasta was absolutely swimming in sauce, served in a bowl. I instantly knew something was not right. Sauce should’ve been reduced more, onions should’ve been finely diced, chicken pieces were bland but the dish was so salty I couldn’t stand to eat another bite. Meals came with breadsticks, which were stale. One chef to another, I would’ve served this dish on a plate with angel hair and a full chicken filet, ditch the mushrooms entirely. Our meal came to $82.50 for 2 pasta dishes, 1 appetizer and 1 mixed drink. Mediocre Italian cuisine. To our waitress Annabella, excellent service. You clearly have many talents, find another restaurant before this place goes under.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Marcello’s Restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing! we tried both the pizzas and pastas, and every bite was delicious.

The flavors were rich, the ingredients fresh, and the portions generous. It’s the perfect spot for a cozy, satisfying meal. Plenty of parking and access to wheelchair. Kid friendly and plenty of space inside to fit large groups. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Highly recommend to anyone craving quality Italian food.

Writing this while eating it’s so good! We did Takeout pepperoni pizza and a Cobb salad. This might be the best of Fitchburg. Big portion salad came with grilled chicken, garlic sticks and a knot. The pizza had the seasoning all around the crust, so good. Everyone was nice in there, the atmosphere was great. Will be back!!

Third time here. Never had a disappointing meal, generous portions, reasonable price. Tonight had jambalaya fettuccine. Hot and spicy just the way I like it. Definitely be coming back.

This was our first time there. Service was okay, waittress could be more friendly. Food was great and decent portions, calamari appetizer was great. Price was okay, not cheap though.
This is not the only restaurant that I noticed that their table knives cannot cut the bread. Looks like they buy butter knives, just a comment. This could be improved. We will be back.

Stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon, after seeing such high reviews about this wonderful restaurant. Loved the decor, ambience, and friendly staff !

We tried the Chicken Parm dinner, and I chose one of the specials of the night, which included a Pesto Pasta dish (+pine nuts), which came out beautifully prepared.
Loved the side dish of Eggplant stuffed polpette.

It’s clear that the chef/s really care about creating exquistely-crafted dishes. Tara, our waitress was kind, efficient and skilled in her craft.
Very classy place.

In retrospect, I wish I took a picture of my plate before I dug in ;)), but I was too excited the moment I viewed the dish.

Thank you again for the lovely experience.
Wishing you a future filled with prosperity and appreciation.

I can’t speak much for the atmosphere. In my opinion it is a little too dark inside and the windows are so dark that it is sometimes confusing to know whether the restaurant is actually open or not. This being said… Everything else was fantastic. The hostess was quick to greet us and get us seated. She was very sweet and kind. After our meal was over, she even asked how our first experience was, which told us, she definately cares about the guests that come through those doors. I wish I got her name. Our server was also incredible. Even though my party was not interested in hearing the specials as it was our first time there (I was with my mom and fiancee.) She made sure to at least ask us if we wanted to hear them with a friendly smile and very kind. She was very attentive and refilled the drinks on the table without even asking. I drank water, as I typically never finish any drink I order and my mom and fiancee both ordered Pepsi. So our server was quick to refill them. We ordered 2 appetizers to start. Garlic Bites with Marinara and the Tzatziki dip with pita. I wasn’t a huge fan of the garlic bites. I felt they were a bit too garlicy. But my mom and fiancee absolutely devoured them. The Tzatziki was also delicious. Both appetizers were demolished. Now for our entrees, My mom ordered the Chicken Parmesean. My fiancee ordered the Chicken Piccata and I ordered the Pasta Formaggio with chicken and pancetta. The food was all around amazing though everyone at my table agreed that my Pasta Formaggio with the chicken and pancetta was the winner. My fiancee and my mom both wish they had ordered what I did, but they loved their meals too! Our server had also updated that our meals came with breadsticks and they were making fresh ones in the oven and would be out shortly. Garlicy breadsticks were preferrably better than the garlic bites, though everything was delectable. 🙂 Plus another party was celebrating a birthday and the birthday chant, I believe may have been a mix of Greek and Italian.. It was wonderful!

We had an interesting dinner. Large menu selections with plenty to choose.
The calamari was very flavorful and tender. It was small strips that were very tender for calamari, almost too tender.
I ordered the cioppino , the waitress didn’t understand so I pointed to the meal on the menu. The meal that was delivered was the mussels and spaghetti, it was a long wait so I ate it. Figured she thought I pointed to the mussel meal below the cioppino. The bill had the cioppino on it, didn’t realize until after leaving and paying $10 extra. The desserts were very good. They didn’t have the special that was on the chalkboard, didn’t have the ingredients.
The drink service was accurate and measured. The drink service was slow.
Okay, our server was young and new. Did notice another experienced server doing better and faster.
All the food was good. Would like to try to cioppino, maybe next time.
Try it, you’ll proudly like it!

The food was very good. The service was acceptable with Monday night staffing. The pricing was competitive.
I do take issue with their 3% “platform” fee which was explained as a credit card fee which is illegal in MA.
The atmosphere is nice although the chairs are not very comfortable for a long stay. No booth seating.
Despite the small annoyances, it was a positive experience.

Ordered the “Olympian” chicken, the chicken breast was actually a small thinly pounded piece of chicken comparable to a chicken cutlet, served over “Greek” spaghetti which was overcooked and tossed in olive oil and Romano cheese. It came with a single Kalamata olive and a sad looking pepperoncini, not sure what made it greek. For $26 I expected an actual piece of chicken and at least some feta and oregano in the “Greek” spaghetti. Server was great, food not so much.
