Uh….. 12.99 for 3 frozen chicken strips. Not including any fries. Burger came with ruffles chips? I’m actually almost impressed that they’ve lasted 4 months serving this. No ac, waiter completely ignored us as we tried to communicate we did not enjoy our food. It’s unfortunate. I hope they improve, or leave.

We should have read the reviews. It’s a beautiful building. The restrooms are clean. The pricing is just too much. The food on the buffet was dried out and overheated. Not much choice. The green beans were overcooked. The sweet potatoes were cubed and overcooked. It was $20 per person. Very disappointing. The salad portion was very good.

ONLY ONE WAITRES FOR THE WHOLE PLACE. SHE WAS VERY NICE AND EXTREAMLY PRETTY, BUT THE PLACE IS TOO BIG FOR ONE PERSON. WOULD NOT RECOMEND THE PRIME RIB. NOT COOKED THE WAY YOU WOULD EXPECT, THEY COOK IT ONE SLICE AT A TIME. ORDERED MEDIUM RARE AND GOT MEDIUM WELL. GLAD I GOT ONLY THE 12OZ DO NOT THINK I COULD CHOKE DOWN ANOTHER 4OZ. FRIES WERE GOOD. MIGHT GO BACK BECAUSE THE OF THE WAITRESS AND SEE IF THEY CAN COOK TOP SIRLOIN RIGHT. BUT THEN MAYBE NOT. BUFFET ONLY ON SAT AND SUN. PAID WITH A CREDIT CARD.

We’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I should have looked at the reviews before going. This has been the worst dinner I have had, along with my guests. As you can see in the photo, this was the corn on the cob that was taken out of the buffet. I looked at the buffet when we first arrived, since there were no customers in the restaurant I had guessed that the food had been in there for quite some time and didn’t want to trust the food. So I decided to try the Walleye diner and it was BAD, had to ask for tarter sauce, and it tasted old, asked for baked beans that was a side choice, sorry we’re out of that, asked for a side salad, that will be an extra $5.99, asked for dinner rolls, sorry we’re out of dinner rolls. This was a Friday evening at 5:30 with no one else in the restaurant. I don’t see them staying open for another month.

I hate leaving bad reviews for small business. However, I feel this absolutely necessary.
The bill was 91.00 and I was so incredibly shocked. I do not blame the cook, he can only work with what was given.
The burger for a single was 8.99, it was preformed and tasted like the frozen ones and was very off putting in taste. The kicker was that, without noticing they charge an additional 2.07 for a SLICE of cheese and then 2.99 EACH for some onions and mushrooms.
This was one of the meals. You get chips unless you pay ANOTHER 2.99 for fries. The worst single patty burger I have ever had cost nearly 20.00.
The child chicken tenders with fries was TWENTY DOLLARS.
The hostess was nice. The waitress was nice. The restaurant was the absolute worst meal out I have ever had and cost a SHOCKING amount of money.
We were the only customer there. I called on my way home to try to provide some constructive feedback and was told the manager was busy.
Just absolutely shocking.

My husband and I stopped in and tried the breakfast buffet before running weekend errands for a change from our usual Middlefield Amish buffet. Everything that we tried on the buffet was good. The homefry potatoes were crispy outside and soft inside. The pancakes were huge and perfectly fluffy.
Our server was polite and attentive. The dining room was clean and decorated nicely for the holidays. We will be back to try the dinner menu.

Food was good. Got the gravy and biscuits. Hubby got pancakes. Gravy had big chunks of sausage in it. Stop in as a new place to eat. Staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.

My Father and I have been to this location several times when it was under different owners and management but we’ve only gone once when the new people took over.
The food was extremely subpar and there was nothing to choose from. There was absolutely nothing Amish about the place, I guarantee the name was used to suck people in due to the area it’s in but the name is the only thing Amish about it.
It seems like whoever the new people are that own the place were eager to open and jumped the gun without having the right pieces on their board. Not sure if will be back, and it really sucks because this place was one of our favorites until recently. We’re not surprised it’s “Temporarily Closed.”

Restaurant is nicely decorated and clean. Restrooms are clean as well.

The sides were hot and delicious, the meat dishes were kind of cold and looked as if they had been sitting there for a while. The fried chicken was super difficult to tear apart but was flavourful.
