Very rude customer service. I’ve been coming here a few times, and not once has any employee greeted me or made me feel welcome. Every visit, I’m met with attitude, and it genuinely feels like customers are a nuisance to them. Unfortunately, this isn’t just one person. Every employee I’ve encountered is the same way, which tells me the management isn’t setting the right tone. The manager himself acts this way, so it makes sense the staff follows.
I’ve given this place many chances, but the customer service has consistently been bad. I won’t be returning. Please train your staff better. a simple hello goes a long way.

The bowl I got was delicious but the service was pretty bad. I walked in, smiled, and said hi to the cashier and she just stared at me. I looked at the menu to choose what I wanted and she proceeded to turn around and work on something without saying a word. I waited until she was finished to order. I myself have a RBF but I try my best to at least say hi to all my customers as they walk in. Like dang girl, at least say hi back.

It’s no surprise that everything at Nekter is incredible, hence why I LOVE going there! But while every other Nekter I’ve been to gets my order ready in less than 5-10 minutes, the Dana Point location doesn’t quite match up in terms of efficiency. I have been to this Nekter probably 5 times, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I have been there, there are very few customers and I still find myself waiting a minimum of 20-30 minutes for my order. At this location, the counter/work area is very open, and it legitimately doesn’t even seem like they try to get your order to you quickly. Instead, a couple of my friends and I watched two workers make drinks/ bowls for people who had seemingly been there several minutes before we walked in incredibly leisurely and slowly with ZERO regard for time. I have always gone there with the hope that maybe I got caught on slow days previously and the service they provide will actually be done efficiently, but I have never been so thoroughly disappointed by an establishment that I have had to compose a negative review about it. If you don’t mind the wait time because you’re simply relaxing and hanging out with friends, then I’m sure this is not a bother whatsoever. But for people who expect a certain quality of service, especially if they have somewhere to go, for your own good, do not come to this location. For the benefit of its customers, I truly hope this location improves its services in the future.

For the majority of the time I have great service but at my last visit my order was handed to another customer. I went up to the counter to tell them I thought that was mine and the girl working behind the counter was extremely rude and upset that she had to make another bowl. So I said it was fine, I’ll just take whatever she was making already. She never apologized or thanked me for making her life a little easier some people.

Food is amazing. Getting the order right??? NOT so much. Very annoying when you’re very excited to get your bowl or whatever and its wrong. No matter if you order via phone, app, door dash or what have you, it always turns out wrong. Then there’s the app… there are so many things wrong with that, I don’t know where to start. I wished someone would start a new smoothie/ bowl / buz. The owners have taken a backseat to so much, its a bummer.

Love this place! Love the menu! But the service is way to slow. Used the app to place my order estimated time was 30 minutes, and that was fine. I got there and still had to wait another 15 minutes for my order! Then realized my order was made wrong, and the ginger shots had nothing but ginger. No lemon or cayenne just a cup of juiced ginger!

20 mins for 2 smoothies and both were completely incorrect. I called the store to let them know but they won’t pick up the phone. I had strep throat and all I wanted was a smoothie. My husband returned to the store to see the girl working there on her cell phone ignoring the phone ringing. Horrible service and a waste of $20.

Friendly service and delicious fruit bowls. I don’t go there often but every time I got something, I left pleased. I recommend the Ocean Ranch shop.

I really want to like this place, but for the price the customer service is abhorrent.
There’s never any sense of urgency (15-25 min for a smoothie), and it’s almost never correct. In general there’s a “so what?” attitude from the staff, who just can’t be bothered.
I’m not sure if it’s training or what with the staff, but I’m hoping this place can turn it around.

Terrible service. Took quite a while to even order our food and it wasn’t crowded. Then after we order it takes another 10 minutes to get our order, and they also forgot to make one of our smoothies. Would not recommend this location if you expect to get your order in a decent time.
