They are still in their soft open with a limited menu. They accommodate spice levels based on request. We loved the spring rolls, Tom yum goong, green curry, and the bar and beer selection. They are focusing on authentic Thai recipes, which may be a bit different than Thai places that cater to American palates. This place has great potential. Service is outstanding and this is the same owner as Ramenesque. I will definitely be going back.

Visited on Memorial day ‘23. They were one of the few places open and had lots of available tables. There were options for indoor and outdoor seating with a patio in the back with picnic tables and seating out front of the restaurant. Service was quick and the food was awesome! The ribs were fall off the bone and so flavorful! The brisket was moist and juicy and oh so tender! We often find that some BBQ restaurants around the area tend to serve very dry brisket and ribs, this was not the case here! Mac and cheese, baked beans and broccoli slaw were our sides and we were not disappointed! I wish they served cornbread as a side on the menu because it was delicious! The prices were reasonable too. We will be visiting again!

My husband and I were super excited to hear a smokehouse opened up in town and we decided to try it out for date night. Let me start by saying we were not disappointed!

The service was outstanding. We were immediately and warmly welcomed upon walking through the door. We chose our table by the window. Our waiter Damien was thorough, considerate, charismatic – and he just made the experience that much better! The bartender was also superb and checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying ourselves!

We each got a drink from the bar off the brand new cocktail list. Both the strawberry basil margarita & elderflower mule were delicious. Refreshing. And definitely strong (but balanced not overpowering with alcohol!)
I decided to get the smoked & fried chicken wings with honey garlic sauce, jalapeño poppers & a side of Mac and cheese. Everything was terrific. I thought I would have trouble eating it all but there was not a crumb to spare! The wings are my new favorite. And I’m picky about my wings! The jalapeño poppers are amazing. I could sit there and eat them all night. Addicting really. The mac is super creamy! My husband got bbq smoked brisket and bbq 1/2 rack ribs with cornbread, Mac and cheese and French fries. He was happy & had no complaints!

We will be definitely be back! Our new favorite spot!

Tried the new Thai restaurant in downtown Peekskill today. A food, that I missed for such a long time here.
Had a wonderful Tom Kha Gai, fresh and not to spicy Pad Thai and a wonderful Sorbet as dessert.
Check Out this venue! Great that we have a Thai now

The following review is obsolete since the venue changed its name from “Peekskill smokehouse” and the cuisine to “Thai” as of January 2024:

This place is a new and great option in Peekskill! Located in the middle of Peekskill’s party-boulevard they serve fine meats and a great selection of beer. (They also have Bitburger on tap every now and then❤️)

What I particularly liked was, that they have decent portions but not a ridiculous amount of meat per person. You won’t leave hungry but also not too full.

You have to try the “burned end ” appetizers!

The dry rub ribs fall off the bone. The brisket was tender and tasty. The pulled pork was a little dry to me, but my wife loved the pulled pork sandwich that came with crispy fries. The roasted brussel sprouts were also great, although a little greasy.

Had the burnt end sandwich and fries for lunch takeout. Fries were crisp and golden fried. Sandwich, though juicy, a bit chewy and great smoky flavor was extremely salty and heavy. The lettuce unfortunately wilted under the weight of the warm beef. It needed something to cut the richness of it, either pickles or slaw. Meal came to $15.17.

Super friendly staff and quick service of great food. Two of us had the brusselsprouts and smokehouse platter for 2. We ordered the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket with mac and cheese, smoked red beans, and broccoli slaw. The ribs were definitely the best thing we ate, but the pulled pork wasn’t far behind. All the meats were tender and flavorful. The sides were okay but the brusselsprouts and corn bread were great. The drinks were good too.

Ordered Chicken Pad See Ew carryout. Food was bland and the expected long flat noodles were diced or shredded? There was no noticeable sauce and it was dry.

Also ordered pad thai and that was bland as well. We ordered “not spicy” but the spice level does not impact the expected flavour.

Food was prepared quickly so 5* for service but it makes you question the cooking process.

We welcome this new addition to downtown Peekskill. We recently visited with a group of friends and had a great time enjoying authentic Thai dishes. We shared different plates and everything was so tasty. We loved the Thai Shrimp Cakes, Green Curry dish and Thai Fried Rice with chicken. We’ll return!

I just got the Green curry w Chicken, Shrimp Cakes and the spring rolls. The green curry has a NICE kick to it but I think you can opt out of the kick if you ask ahead. The spring rolls, although small are really good with the sauce that accompany it. The shrimp cakes are also small but SOOOOO good with the tartar sauce. For dessert I got the Lychee Sorbet and it’s nothing less than AHHHMAZING for me. I will definitely be going back as I would order all of these items again… not bad for a first time trying Thai food…I’m glad I did!
