I love a good dive bar and this place is one! The the bartender was great, drinks were I didn’t have any food but people around me did and they were very happy with it, itsmelt and looked really good. I will stop again hopefully for longer and some food.

I have never been so insulted. We are from out of town and was driving through and thought a drink sounded good and we were sitting at the bar for 25 minutes without a word to us after 30 minutes we walked out and not one person said a single word to us as we walked out. There are no appropriate words that can describe the positive experience I had at The Rock Slide. Traveling on 299 through the winter can be daunting, but The Rock Slide is a warm flame on the side of the road. I stopped by hoping they served food at 3pm, they did. Those burgers were the best we had. The accompanying onion rings and chips were as delicious. Thank you to Sharon for your hospitality!

I am trying all their food ,mushrooms fried were crisp hot with great clean oil ,the mushrooms tasted yum!I got Sweet Potato Fries with blue cheese dip and. One of my favorite places around Humboldt and definitely a perfect closet for a day on the river. Absolutely astounding food, cool tenders, occasional live music with a stage inside and out and the owner/operators are very cool people who support live music.
