The Rabbit Hole Experience at The Parlor Room was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, creating an immersive and elevated evening that truly showcased the best of Bardstown’s bourbon culture.
The paired bites by Bourbon City Kitchen & Trade Company were phenomenal — balanced perfectly to complement each pour and crafted with clear culinary intention. The chocolates from Barrel Pick Confections were true artisan creations, enhancing the tasting experience in such a refined and memorable way.
Whitney curated a seamless event where hospitality, education, and ambiance came together effortlessly. Hearing Matt share the craftsmanship and story behind Rabbit Hole Distillery added incredible depth to each sip, making the experience both informative and meaningful.
Katie Cruz’s cocktails were outstanding — creative, balanced, and beautifully executed.
Beyond the bourbon and pairings, what truly stood out was the sense of connection. My friend and I met amazing people, had thoughtful conversations, and walked away feeling inspired.

My wife and I had an opportunity to check out the Parlor Room for a tasting experience featuring Old Fitzgerald bourbon. We’ve done about a dozen bourbon tastings in and around Louisville over the years, but this was our first one in Bardstown. Whitney was fantastic! She’s passionate about bourbon, is super knowledgeable and a natural storyteller. We would definitely do another experience with her when we’re back in town.

This is a great time and miss Whitney is fantastic. She is very knowledgeable and really makes you feel welcome. We were lucky due to poor weather getting a private experience with just her my wife and I and it was one of the best bourbon experiences I’ve had. If you haven’t gone to one of her events you really should. I know I’ll be back.

Whitney is a knowledgeable, personable storyteller with a great gift for sharing her love of bourbon and Bardstown. We are fairly knowledgeable about bourbon and tastings and history, but Whitney personalized our experience to teach us new information while enjoying excellent pours and a cocktail. Her Parlor is comfortable, warm, and inviting with personal historical touches throughout, all of which have stories and history. This is so much more than a tasting; it is an incredible journey into the stories and people behind the bourbon. Highly recommend for novices and experts alike!
