The restaurant at Oban Inn never ceases to amaze me!! The atmosphere, the service above with attention to giving you a wonderful evening of fine dining……. And the food was absolutely delicious!
I had the Lamb Rack ( perfection!) and my partner enjoyed the pork schnitzel which was a generous portion. For desert we shared a delicious sticky pudding which was a perfect ending to an exceptional meal.

We had a superb evening .. food was fantastic- schnitzel was most generous, chicken supreme with mushroom risotto was delicious.. shrimp and scallop entrée was also wonderful. Just a bit small… our server Alexa was one of a kind- she made the night so special as we were there celebrating a special birthday.. definitely recommend

Alexa was our server, she was excellent as was the food, from the appetizers to main course then desert. Celebrating my birthday she offered a complimentary birthday drink which was Sophia’s Lemoncella! First time here and will definitely be back.

Small Portions, Overpriced Desserts..
Was looking forward to our special occasion dinner. Unfortunately, it left us very disappointed. The portions are very small, and we are not big eaters. While the food was good, a few more potatoes and asparagus with the perfectly cooked filet, would have made all the difference in the world. The service from Alexa was superb. The dining room is dingy, in my opinion. But the biggest let down and the restaurant management should be embarrassed and ashamed for gouging people…a toonie sized piece of cheesecake (less than 3 bites) was $16. Definitely not the dreamy cheesecake pictured in the next review. We spent over $200, with no liquor and left hungry. Plus, they charge $6 for 6 small slices of baguette. I feel they are just trying to take advantage of the tourists. As a local once and done and I promise to share my negative experience with family and friends. Also, sending a private message through Open Table to management and no response, indicates they don’t care. I understand why the restaurant was only half full on a summer night in mid July.

This was highly recommended but we were disappointed. First we had chosen so we could dine on patio as it was a nice night. We were told that was for hotel patrons only. We stayed anyways and my husband ordered the featured soup tomato cream. It was terrible..watery and no sign of creme. Fast food restaurants have better soup than that.
Ordered the lamb and it was 2 small chops and I am not a big eater but it was barely enough for me. Way overpriced.

We’ve been to NotL about five times now and we always try to choose some good restaurants. This was our first time dining at Oban and we were not disappointed.
The setting is elegant and looks out on a well kept, colourful garden with a small fountain in the centre.
Our server, Alexa (no relation to Amazon ), was very engaging and we enjoyed chatting with her.
Between us, we ordered the Duck Confit and the Chicken Supreme with a mushroom risotto. Both were delicious.
Another thing that impressed us was that the restaurant featured a good list of Niagara-area wines – exclusively. Oban is definitely doing its part to promote local wines. Kudos to you!
