People ask me in different states, where is my favorite place I’ve tried? And I always mention Southern Classic!
Fork tender sliced beef had a perfect bite & subtle smoke flavor. The sauce is extraordinary southern classic flavor with a medium pour that got me asking for extra! Robust greens & buttery corn with a perfect crunch. Served w slice of fluffy bread because it’s worth wiping the plate!

Went to Willie’s pit Bar-B-Q great BBQ had the two meat special with pulled pork and pork ribs collard greens black eyed peas and a pulled pork and a sausage sandwich Kassandra and I throughly enjoyed the food and talked with Willie he is a very friendly and a talented man his BBQ will put a smile on your face and if you are lucky you might catch willie with his guitar. it is very rare to go out to eat and feel so at home thank you Willie I just wanted to surprise my girl with some good BBQ for lunch but it was great BBQ and a great time. I will definitely go back again

Best kept BBQ secret in Pueblo! Super close to San Carlos, State Hospital, and La Vista. For years I thought this place was closed. They are definitely open, and definitely serving up the best home cooked BBQ in town! We ordered a family pack for $40, everyone loved it! New favorite spot!

We had a lovely lunch here! The pork ribs, hot links, and pit ham were delicious! The potato salad was also wonderful if you love pickles like I do. The man who took care of us was very nice and made us feel welcome. We’ll absolutely be back again soon!

True real food. Wholesome food. Homemade natural BBQ sauce. No junk ingredients. I look at this as a community landmark. So many great memories here. It’s not fancy, but it’s genuine. That’s rare in today’s restaurants.
Best BBQ in region. Owner is a true craftsman. Very reasonable prices. Love both beef and pork ribs. Genuine original BBQ sauce.

I’ve had some amazing BBQ in my life and this wasn’t BBQ. I should have known to turn around and walk away when I couldn’t smell anything in the parking lot or when we walked inside but I’m always willing to give small businesses a chance.
there is absolutely nothing smoked. it’s all baked with absolutely no flavor. every meat was dry as if it were days old, the BBQ sauce was congealed (I didn’t even know that was possible), and the sides were store bought or canned. the black eyed peas are literally dumped out of a can, the collard greens are a travesty, and the potato salad scooped out of a plastic container. I laughed tasting each item because everything got progressively worse.
Mr. Willy is a very nice man, service was kind and punctual. I’m not sure how this ever got 4.5 stars but like a lot of local establishments, Southern Classic Cuisine must be resting on its laurels from many many years ago.

The ribs were juicy and delicious and the sides were a perfect complement. The owner was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, he even gave our 8 year old an extra rib for free after seeing he finished his first one. Definitely the best bbq in town… we’ll be going back very soon.

This restaurant is clean and has a beautiful decor. I’ve had the chicken and pulled pork, both are wonderful. I’ll admit I am not fond of beans, but the BBQ beans are really good. The slaw is freshly made. Just like a home cooked meal and at a reasonable price. If you are traveling through Pueblo Colorado and want BBQ, this is the place to go. And if you live in Pueblo, please support this local business. It’s a gem of Pueblo.
