Absolutely love coming here. Besides the excellent salads (potato salad and coleslaw are neck and neck for fav) the store itself has such an enjoyable old school feel. Kind of like walking back in time. I hope they keep that nostalgic feeling.

Best deli for potato salad. Seriously, I have yet to find a better recipe…anywhere…and I travel overseas. The rice pudding is outrageous. However, friendly is not a word I would use to describe the staff.

My favorite deli for most of my life! ALWAYS. Freshly made food and delicious! BUT…..a few days ago went to by salads an was shocked!! For 3 two lb. Containers of salads my bill was over 30.00!!

A little mom and pop store that I have been going to for over 20 years. Open 5 days a week closed on Monday and Tuesday every week. Different hot items specials every day.. The best home made rice pudding around made with a merange topping very creamy. Comes out fresh every day around 10 to 10:30 daily.

Old school deli. Been a Bayonne staple for over fifty years, so they must be doing something right. Best potato salad in town. Roast beef is outstanding. Yummy rice pudding.

The Fifth Street Deli is a Bayonne/ downtown institution. It’s been there well over 50 years & I’m glad.
They bake there own ham, turkey, roast beef, & roast pork for sandwiches. There potato, macaroni, & cole slaw salads are a must as is there rice pudding. It’s our traditional deli of Bayonne & I hope they’re there another 50 years with the same recipes.
