went through the drive thru today after an exam, feeling very indifferent and tired mentally and physically ordering one of my favorite drinks, white chocolate mocha. emmie at the window was literally one of the sweetest and kindest souls i think could walk this planet. her customer service was beyond out of this world and her vibes were immaculate. she talked with such ease and was very personable. and the drink was so amazing too. thank you all so much for lighting up my day!! i hope you all realize and recognize the amazing staff you have at this establishment!! stay kind and GATA BABY

I visit this Starbucks often and have experienced peak customer service every time. The staff is very inviting and I feel content when I stay in the store to study. Today, in particular, I felt my experience was so pleasing that I felt the need to write this five-star review. Everyone on staff, including Olivia, Laura, Angelo, Autumn, Patsi and Cooper, created a very welcoming environment and have made me want to go back consistently just to hear their jokes and feel at home. It is great to see others use this third place of meeting for small groups and study hour. I would definitely reccomend this store to anyone who has not had the joy of experiencing top-tier coffee service.

Truly the worst Starbucks drink I have ever been given was from this location. When ordering a $10 coffee, I expect it to edible. I was in the mood for something semi-sweet this morning and ordered an iced white mocha – it was terrible, I mean truly AWFUL. It tasted like burnt coffee beans mixed with milk. Did not taste anywhere remotely close to espresso or what it’s supposed to taste like. I’ve had them “off” before, but never to this level. I threw it away not 5 minutes after receiving it. Super disappointing.

I usually don’t pay too much mind to fast food chains because I don’t expect much, but this is the slowest Starbucks I have ever visited. The line consistently takes forever, and mobile ordering doesnt change anything. A few days ago I ordered a bagel and a simple cafe latte. I was the only person in line, and there were not that many people in store, and yet, for how long I waited, you’d think I’d ordered the whole menu. 4 more cars piled behind me while I sat in my car and watched my made drink and bagel sit on the counter for 15 minutes while the person working the window did 80 others things aside from take 5 seconds to hand over my order. Today I went to try and grab a coffee before a storm came in. I mobile ordered before I even left my house, and yet I still waited 20 minutes inside before my drink was ready, so I got rained on anyways. Whoever was on the hot station was horrendously slow, I saw at least 7-10 iced drinks leave their station in the time it took her to make my drink and someone else’s. And when she finally put it out, she didn’t even call anyone’s name, she just set it there and left again. The drinks taste fine, but the service speed has got to improve.

Everytime I go here the workers are so nice and my stuff is out fairly quick (6 cars in front of me and only had to wait 10 minutes). Had a rough final exam this morning and the guy at the drive thru told me to have a good day, so now I will. Thank you beautiful starbucks man ❤️

The service was mediocre, and I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. The barista never called out my name for my order. I stood at the counter waiting patiently and saw part of my order ready, so I waited for the rest. The barista made no real effort and used random syllables, even though other customers’ names were called out clearly and loudly. I understand my name is different, but that is not an excuse for dismissive behavior. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. When I finally worked up the courage to speak to the manager, she brushed me off and said they didn’t have time to say my name, then added that she hoped I had a good night while I was literally sitting there on my laptop doing work. Lesson learned: next time I’ll just put “Ashley.”

My husband frequently chooses this Starbucks because the location is more convenient. Unfortunately, this Starbucks has to be the worst Starbucks in statesboro. The staff is friendly but the coffee tastes terrible. It always tastes like burnt coffee beans and water. It’s crazy how dramatic the difference is in the coffee I get from here vs the northside drive location. It’s too expensive to be that nasty.

This place continues to get subpar reviews so Starbucks must be okay with it. Take your money some place else, folks.

This was my last straw for this location. Came with a friend to redeem a birthday reward and because it wasn’t popping up on their end, Micah said, “I mean I’ll tell you happy birthday and all but I can’t give you a free drink.” Didn’t even try to ask for help from a manager or anyone else. We even showed Micah on the app where it said October 20th as her birthday and he said “Have you had the app for more than a year?” when I’m pretty sure you only have to have it for 7 days prior to your birthday, which doesn’t matter anyways because she’s had the app since 2020. Absolutely terrible customer service. Atleast the drink was good. For $10, I would hope so.
