We had been wanting to try Bistro B for a while now, and decided to try it on Valentine’s Day. We made reservations but didn’t realize it was a “Valentine’s menu”. Which was fine because we liked meals that were offered. Until we got the food. The house salad was literally nothing but lettuce. Oh. And tomatoes, but when you leave the tomatoes off, you just get lettuce. No croutons, cheese or anything. Not a huge deal. On to the main course. I got the ribeye, ordered medium rare. There wasn’t even a hint of pink in it, not alone any red. But I guess when the steak is no thicker than a pencil you would have to expect that. My food also came out cool. Definitely not hot. Maybe some of it was warm. Probably got cold waiting for my husbands food to cook. We could have chosen many more places and spent $150 on much better quality of food. I can’t believe they had a set menu and this…junk was what we were offered. Thin steak, cold food, Alfredo that looked like it came from one of the McCormick sides bags.

My 13-year-old son and I were just driving around looking for somewhere new to eat when the Christmas lights at Bistro B caught our attention. We pulled in on a whim, and I’m SO glad we did.
I started with an Espresso Martini (delicious), and while looking through the menu I about fell out of my seat — they actually had bone marrow. I’ve been searching everywhere and nobody has it. Of course my son wanted nothing to do with it, so we ordered the mussels instead… and honestly, they were incredible. That sauce was unreal.
Then the sweetest thing happened: the owner overheard us going back and forth about the bone marrow and actually brought one out for me to try. Just because he knew I really wanted it. That kind of gesture is rare, and it meant a lot — especially as a business owner myself.
My son got the Dragon Roll, I ordered the salmon, and both dishes were so good and beautifully done. And yes, we finished with my favorite — crème brûlée — and it was perfect.
The décor is gorgeous too. You can tell they put thought into it. It’s the kind of place that works for anything — girls’ night, date night, or just a chill family dinner. Really warm and inviting.
What surprised me most is how much variety they have. Sushi, seafood, bone marrow, burgers, pizzas… something for every mood. And the prices were totally reasonable for the quality.
From the staff to the new owners, everything was just spot on. They deserve to be a staple of the beach for years to come — this place is a gem.

From the moment we walked in, the owner she was so damn nice and welcoming. She had the best energy — super friendly, down-to-earth, and really took the time to talk with us. She gave amazing food and drink recommendations and made sure we were fully taken care of the entire time. You can tell she’s passionate about her restaurant and her customers!
Now the food? Top tier. Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The sushi was unreal — you could taste the real, high-quality ingredients in every bite. Nothing cheap or artificial — just pure, delicious, fresh food made with care. ✨

I took my wife here for Valentines Day. We really had high hopes for this place. We heard good things and they have good reviews. I should have known when I sat down and noticed they spelled Valentines wrong that we were in for a bad time. The steak was small and didn’t have much flavor. It was a sad looking 12 oz ribeye steak. My wife ordered the lamb which was tasteless. Her martini she ordered was also not good and we sent that back for a glass of wine instead. We were still charged for that drink we sent back as well. The bill was $150 before tip and left us feeling like we overpaid for Denny’s.

WOW. Just WOW. What a truly beautiful experience. I was amazed by this place, especially the atmosphere and freshness of the food. Regardless of it not being popular I do not regret coming here at all, and in fact, the overall peace of the place was enjoyable. Seating is very friendly to families with younger children, or bigger families/groups as a whole. Not too loud, either! Conversations can be had without distraction, or obnoxious noise. Good music, good decoration, chill staff, and ESPECIALLY good food. When walking in, you can immediately tell the effort put into the place, and it is a very comfy restaurant. I can tend to be nervous in new places along with with staff, but I felt very welcomed here, and never was displeased with the service once. To put it simply, the food was PERFECT. Absolutely fresh, and I never found myself doubting for a moment the quality. The seafood is clearly from good sources, and I’m truly amazed with the satisfying meal. If you are coming to Myrtle Beach for some good sushi, you should come here without a doubt; you will not regret it.

Went there for the Valentine’s Day special and checked their social medias where they were posting about their valentines menu. Upon arrival they also explained that Valentine’s Day was a special menu. The staff was amazing, my food was delicious, they had an amazing singer and Candle light dinner. I had such an amazing experience. My ribeye was amazing and my partners lamb chops were absolutely perfect. It took a little long because they were absolutely packed but it’s understandable on a special holiday. We had reservations and the table was separate for us and ready with candles. Manager came to check on us always making sure we were good. I can’t wait to be back and try their sushi because I saw other people ordering sushi and I almost regretted not getting it. 10/10

Went for valentines dinner with my wife. I’ll start by saying the server was very attentive and you could tell he loved his job. There was live entertainment also, a singer who had an absolute beautiful voice. So nice to hear this while having a nice dinner. My wife ordered the lamb chops and I ordered the fettuccini and salmon. Both came out absolutely perfect. So much flavor and plated very nicely also. Dessert was awesome. The owner/manager also came to check in and speak with us and I could not felt anymore welcome in a place that was busy but people took time out to make sure you were being taken care of. This is not my first visit here and definitely won’t be my last. I look forward to many more dinners there. 10/10 all the way
