We loved the pastries from Petite Provence. We had them before in other cities. I don’t know what happened to my coffee. I got an Americano with heavy cream. My coffee tasted odd but I still drank it since we came for coffee and a pastry (driving to Lake Oswego for vacation). After a few hours I started feeling queasy. I hope I didn’t have a reaction to the heavy cream. I added two Splenda and that’s it. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place. They made a good cortado for my partner but he’s had better at other locations. One thing I did notice was that when they brought our coffees, we had to wait for our pastries. 10 minute wait. Apparently they were getting warmed up. Anyway, three older individuals were working. I hope they had a bucketful of tips. They worked hard.

Our experience was wonderful because of the great staff working today. Our server was a sweet older woman who was so kind and warm
Thank you for helping us choose the right cappuccino.
We ordered the decadent, full flavored soft Risotto Cakes and Avocado Burratta Toast came with delicious sweet squash and provincial potatoes.
Perfectly cooked, fall flavor with pan finished carmelization.
Tiny tables makes for a cozy seating but a great place for a bistro brunch experience

Visiting my sister, she recommended on our visit to the Dalles. Great brunch: Northwest Salmon Hash (topped with eggs and house made hot sauce), sourdough (and their house made raspberry jam)
Dad’s, this is the place to date your daughter. Get with the program and get that relationship right. Really, you’ll love this place with your loved one(s). Topped it with a nice coffee. Oui oui!

Food would have been better on a warm orhot plate. Service a bit slow at first. The Benedict was tasty. Potatoes too cold and fork too weak to smush them to soak up yolk and hollandaise sauce.

We are big fans of Petite Provence locations and always try and stop by when we’re near one. The food here was wonderful, as always. I got the Mediterranean Chicken Salad and a cup of the French Onion Soup. My son got a Jalapeno Mac and Cheese special, and my husband got the Baked Eggs. All of them came out hot and fast and fresh. The waitress forgot our Croissant we had ordered as an app, but brought us THREE to take with us when we mentioned it. Above and beyond, and she was very nice. That raspberry jam they have is worth its weight in gold.
They were clearly understaffed, so if I have any feedback it is to staff some additional servers for the floor so your existing staff isn’t having to run around so frantically.

Warm, intimate and cozy. This restaurant also has friendly – personable staff!
I ordered the Monte Cristo. It was tasty and filling. Mr. wonderful ordered the corned beef, special with potato salad. I usually don’t like anyone else’s potato salad, but really liked Petite Provence’s version.
Of course, we went home with bread, Petite’s spectacular refrigerator raspberry jam, and a couple of pastries.

I had a wonderful BLT on a homeade crossiant. It included avocado and aoli. The waitress recommended the French fries which were probably the best I’ve ever had. They also have baked goods and desserts.

January 15, 2026 Lunch – The space is very crowded and noise level is so high you really can’t have a conversation without feeling like you have to yell. Waitresses were friendly and helpful but they too had to maneuver around small walk ways to serve and check on us. The food was flavorful, breads were fresh and yummy. They must have been running low on meat and cheese even though my sandwich was good, ingredients were lacking. By the time we left around 1-1:30pm, noise level was normal and pleasant. So if I ever go again I will come earlier or for a late lunch to enjoy the uniqueness of this eatery.

Cozy old place. VERY laid back – maybe a little too much. There were only 2 people there when we walked in. But the waitress was too busy visiting a friend to acknowledge us for a good while. I get that she couldn’t have known we were trying to be quick. But absolutely no sense of urgency was paid us. Decent food though – but a limited menu compared to the other locations.
