Was working in mahopac today and as always when In an unfamiliar area I was weary about what to have for lunch, but this place was close by and I’ve driven past it a million times. I checked out the menu and was impressed by the variety of sandwiches and variations available. When I called to order I spoke with an older gentleman that I assume was the owner, he was very kind and answered any questions that I had. When I arrived the store was very well kept, and you could tell their emphasis was on making food rather than trying to upsell a million products. The two gentleman at the counter were fast and efficient, and my sandwich was ready when I got there. I had ordered a “fast Eddie” which is pulled pork and chicken cutlet, with some additional toppings, and I was absolutely not disappointed. After the first half of the sandwich I thought to myself “ I could eat a thousand more of these” because of how good it tasted, and by the end of the second half I thought “ I couldn’t eat another bite if I wanted to” because it was filling. Phenomenal food at a reasonable price, will definitely return when I’m in the area.

Everything we ordered was prepared perfectly and absolutely delicious. The pulled barbecue chicken was all delicious saucy meat. There was nothing that you could not eat. No fat or bones or grizzle. Same with the beef brisket, which was heavenly. The salads were a perfect mix. Nothing too sweet or too salty or too saucy. Love the coleslaw. Corn on the cob was perfect. The owner delivered everything hot and ready. Everyone went back for seconds and even thirds. There was plenty and we’re still enjoying the leftovers.

Absolutely legendary deli. Family owned, great atmosphere. Highly recommend the death sauce. Best cole slaw I have ever had. If you are not 100% satisfied with your food and experience, call me and I will personally reimburse you out of my own pocket. God bless this family and deli.

Biggest and Best sandwiches I think in this area; chicken is always fresh and hot, never cold, and they are large and fill you up. Whether really hungry or after a workout, they never disappoint. Death sauce with just about anything goes. Awesome spot

I’ve been passing this deli for years now and never gave it a thought, until this past week. To my surprise, this place is bangin!! The only thing I would suggest is getting better hero (wedge) bread. The hot roast beef sandwich I had was awesome and the death sauce is on point!
