Hope the local community supports them – we need good restaurants in the area to thrive.
Small, clean restaurant located in the rejuvenated Asian business-dominated strip mall across from Walmart at FM 1960 and TC Jester. Dad, mom, and son staff this place, with dad as the chef. Visited for dinner and we were greeted and seated promptly. Ordered Sushi Sampler (6 chef’s choice Sushi/Sashimi rolls), Tofu Red Curry, and Chicken Pad Kra Pao (ground Chicken with Basil and rice). Food took a little bit of time to arrive, as they were catering to to-go/delivery orders as well. But once it arrived, it was the bomb! Ample quantity, fresh fish pairings with rice, superb curry and ground chicken. Asked for spicy with chopped fresh chili on the side – and did it hit the spot! Consistency, flavor, heat…all on point. On top of that, friendly and attentive service by mom and son! The meal set us back $53 with taxes and tip. We just found our new Thai favorite! Do support this family – they have been in town for 8 mos and if this is the type of food they dish out, then we should never let them leave!
I ordered the Drunken Noodles with shrimp.
My dad got the Garlic dish with chicken
My sister got the Pad Thai with shrimp.
My mom got the fried rice with tofu.
Everyone said their food was delicious.
The waiter and the lady who worked there were friendly and gave great service.
We also added an extra order of cream cheese Rangoon, and it was so good it practically melted in our mouths.
The ambiance of the restaurant is quiet and relaxing, making it a nice spot to enjoy a meal. We will definitely be coming back!
The service is consistently friendly and not overly bearing. They were very accommodating when daughter wanted to bring her shark plate to use at the table for her sushi.
The price is reasonable and the quality is especially good. I actually find that, while their sashimi both appears and tastes appetizing, I prefer the sushi!
I have also eaten their curry, which was not overly spicy (as requested) but still flavorful. The portion sizes are good.
If I made any complaint at all, it would be the music choice. While it was at a good volume as to not overwhelm the ambience, I do wonder if it’s too early for instrumental Christmas music.
