Excellent service, food, and ambiance.
Ordered the 14oz Ribeye, with mixed vegetables, and potatoes. All of the food was phenomenal. Best steak I’ve had in Richmond!
Service was friendly, attentive, and helpful.
Also ordered a glass of Reisling.
Plenty of parking.
I recommend making a reservation in advance.
Very satisfied and will be back in the future.

My husband shared this Richmond institution with me. I loved the atmosphere. It was easy to spend a couple hours talking on a date night. The service is great. We ordered the rack of lamb. The dish was huge so it took a long time to prepare and we were glad that we shared. The lamb was supposed to have a demiglaze sauce but we were not sure where the sauce was. The plating was poor. Salad, calamari and drinks were good. The bread pudding was ok. Next time we’ll order a different dish. I understand why they have been around for over 30 years. This place is very reasonable compared to some other high-end restaurants so I definitely recommend for date nights.

My husband surprised me by taking me to this restaurant for our anniversary and my birthday, combined celebration. Our server was wonderful, and you could tell he had been there for eight years. He was calm, attentive, but not overbearing. There’s nothing worse than feeling like your server is sitting at your table with you because they never leave you alone. Our server timed his interactions perfectly, start to finish. The food was delicious, this is now my favorite steakhouse in Richmond hands down. Better than Bookbinders, but different atmosphere. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, old fashioned, lovely. We sat in a comfortable, private booth.
Dessert and coffee were amazing, and they were kind enough to gift us with dessert.

This place is a Richmond staple for a reason. We had a great time. The was service was good our staff team was very attentive and helpful with assisting in our wine selection. The place always looks beautiful on the inside. The ambience is stunning as always. We enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. Now that we live closer, this is definitely going to be in our rotation of go to spots. The bar area looks nice for stopping by for social hour during the week, which I also can’t wait to do. Great experience all around. Thanks.

It has been about 10 years since I was last at Buckheads and boy was it great. Greg was our waiter and he was fabulous. We started with lobster bisque and shrimp cocktail. Both were excellent and I really loved the cocktail sauce for the shrimp, it had the perfect amount of horseradish. My wife had the salmon and I had the steak and crab. Both were wonderful and cooked perfectly. For dessert I had the key lime pie which was also very good.
What really impressed us was that the timing between each course was perfect. Very little time passed between when our bowls were removed before the salad came out, and then again before the main course came out.
I highly recommend going to Buckheads and will surely be back again much soon this time.

First time visitor and had an overall great experience! Phenomenal service and the highlights have to be the scallops and gnocci, lobster bisque, the espresso martini, and honestly the Caesar salad was super good also. As another comment mentions, ironically the steaks were just okay. But the overall experience matter to me more and I’d definitely come back again!

Filet with the demi glace, enough said. Everything here is phenomenal and the staff are extremely professional. This is the perfect place to celebrate the big milestones like birthdays, the big promotion at work, anniversaries, and dinner with old friends. Anyone considering this place should absolutely go and not worry about wasting their hard earned money. This place delivers time after time.

The service was impeccable. Our waiter did not miss a beat. Very calm atmosphere. The food was ok at best. I went here on New Years Eve, I had a late reservation. 9:30 pm. Maybe this impacted food quality. Baked potatoes was definitely warm at best. The cheese and butter did not even melt. My Ribeye had decent flavor, but was definitely overcooked. As well as my husband’s. Crabcakes were really good. The only thing I enjoyed 300.00 later.. Just not what my family expected.
