I had a birthday gathering back around the end of Dec here, and it was not a great experience. The food was overpriced for the quality we received. We had chicken that was huge and way overcooked. It was truly unbelievable to see that the dish alone was $25 for what we got, and I understand it’s usually a shareable portion. There’s a chinese place called Fortune Palace that servers shareable portions around the same price but their quality of chicken is outstanding than here. The restaurant’s aesthetic is nice and all, but I should have made a reservation at a damn P.F. Chang’s instead. We all agreed about the quality of the food being poor and how ridiculous the prices are for it. Like I know we’re in the Peppermill but holy hell that food should have been better than what we had that night. The coconut cake they brought was alright. Not a fan of it. For a chinese restaurant maybe a traditional fruit sponge cake would be better for many at your table to enjoy. I had better chinese food back in TX. Wouldn’t comeback to this place to try again. I’m assuming it’ll be the same from the other low rated reviews.

I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Chi Restaurant inside the Peppermill. From start to finish, our server Hannah was incredibly gracious, welcoming, and attentive. She had a perfect sense of timing, always there when we needed something yet thoughtful about giving us space to enjoy catching up. I was visiting with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time, and Hannah helped make the evening feel relaxed and special.
My friend is vegan, and the kitchen had no trouble accommodating her dietary needs. She ordered the Stir Fry Tofu with Cashews, while I had the Stir Fry with Tender Beef and Broccoli. Both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also ordered the Spring Roll appetizer, which comes with three, and Hannah kindly offered to add an extra roll so we could split them evenly, such a thoughtful touch.
For dessert, we shared the Mango Tapioca and Thai Tea Cheesecake, and both were fantastic. Portions were huge and generous. I left feeling completely full, happy, and now I even have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
Another nice touch was when the manager, Patrick, stopped by to check on our table and make sure everything was going well. That level of care really stood out.
Hannah was truly the star of the show and made this an experience we’ll be sharing with friends and family. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon.
Thank you, Hannah!

This was me and my wife’s first time eating at Chi. Our waiter, Kay, was absolutely the best waiter we’ve ever had. Very attentive, very sweet, and caring. He took his time with us and did little things to make us feel very special. Ask for him if you go and eat there. Food was great as well.

For being an upscale Chinese restaurant it was not worth the money. The chicken fried rice was the best thing we had. The lemon chicken and orange chicken had ok flavoring but the pieces of chicken were huge and most was overcooked and hard. We wanted some Gelato, but we’re told to just walk over and get it from the Gelato stand, they charge way more for it in the restaurant than they do at the Gelato stand.

Our server Linda was the best! Super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and gave delicious recommendations on drinks and food. The lychee martini is a must try!! So so good. The atmosphere is really upscale but we were seated near the entrance and could smell smoke from the casino area. I would recommend a table or both closer to the back of the restaurant. Overall great place to have dinner and the locals 20% makes it even better!

The first thing you get is how magnificent the place is. Very high end decor that said the price of the food equals the taste of the decor. Kay was our sever and provided us with a world-class service. Attentive, and courteous his attention to detail and his knowledge of the menu surprised and delighted me. All in all, it was an exquisite evening for us. She had the tofu snow pea mushrooms, and I had the peppered fried pork, their egg drop soup and their fried wonton, were some of the best I have had. Certainly some of the best I’ve ever had in the casino. Oh the jasmine tea paired well our meal.

I had a surprisingly great meal here. They made a geberal tsao beef that was incredibly flavorful and the rice was cooked perfect. Another highlight was post and beam Cabernet by the glass. I’ll definitely be back.

I liked the seafood chowfun and chicken fried rice. Appetizers were really disappointing, Cheese Ragoon was VERY small for a table share and way overpriced. Avoid the $20 apps and soup, not worth it. Dinner portions were good size, 3 of us could have shared 2.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.
