Since my first introduction to the craft in 2015, cooking barbecue has completely consumed my life. It’s a never-ending quest to get the smoke just right, the seasoning blends perfect, and sourcing the best cuts of meat possible. It’s our mission to create quality, Texas-style barbecue in Central Florida and foster a community of BBQ enthusiasts in the Lakeland area. With our first brick-and-mortar location, we’ve been able to grow our team of craft barbecue professionals and continue to hone our craft, bringing authentic Texas-style barbecue to the folks of Central Florida. This place is located inside a building with other food vendors. The BBQ ribs were really good with their sweet sauce. The mac-n-cheese I really didn’t like, next time I’ll get the fries instead. There were plenty of tables and chairs to eat your food at. There is indoor and outside seating. The parking is for free.

My brother and I got pulled pork sandwiches. They were alright. I got a side of mac and cheese. It was ok, my brother got baked beans (they were spicy keep that in mind for the kiddos).

It was a good place among the many choices inside the building. I kinda got the vibe they just microwave the food and serve em in the same containers like paper Tupperware. The pork was good though. We are there when the festivities were going on July 4th, so comparitvely speaking the price was much better. Would I go out of my way? No. Is it a good option if you are there, yes

First time at the Joinery with my Dad & this was the best gluten free option. Everyone was pleasant & helpful. Dad had the Brisket sandwich with beef tallow fries. I had the beef brisket with a double side collard greens. The mustard BBQ was yummy.

Solid bbq, but paid Terry Black’s in Austin prices. The brisket and pulled pork were both very good, great flavor and juicy. The sweet sauce and mustard sauce by themselves were not great, but combined tasted very much like classic Texas bbq sauce. Potato salad was interesting with corn adding a bit of sweetness. Cole slaw kind of bland, but ok. Overall pretty good, but pricey.

Great BBQ. Pulled pork was perfect. Brisket delicious and smoked perfect. Sauces are good with unique flavor. Potato salad was amazing. Loved the baked beans as well. The staff was very friendly. We will be driving out of our way to visit again.

Superb! The brisket place was our order. Probably one of the most tender briskets I’ve had in awhile. Highly recommend !!! They can take your number while they text you once your orders complete so you can walk around the Joinery a bit or go back to your table etc…
