From the very first bite, I was blown away by the quality and flavor of their pizza; it’s truly the best I’ve ever had. Andrea is always our waitress, and she is fantastic!! My husband and I come here whenever we can so that we can be treated like family. The pizza is exceptional, the hospitality is warm. If you want a real New York experience, you come here. Period. Cozy, delicious, authentic. And so many options! I came here tonight with my vegetarian friend, and there were so many options for her! And scrumptious too. Vegan sausage and pepperoni. Just all around amazing. We love you guys 🙂

We ordered three items by phone: (1) Bianca’s pizza, (2) a Brooklyn-style pizza, and (3) the 71st Street salad. I asked whether it was better to pay with cash or card, and the woman on the phone advised paying cash and told me the total would be $48. My husband picked up the order about 20 minutes later.
When we got home, we started with the salad and immediately noticed what appeared to be a gray hair in it. We called Frankie’s right away and were told we could either receive a refund or get a free item on a future order. We chose the refund and said we’d come back in about 30 minutes.
Since my husband was hungry, we skipped the salad and started eating the Bianca’s pizza. While eating his third slice, my husband had to spit out his bite because there was a piece of plastic in the pizza. At that point, it felt like one issue after another.
My husband boxed up the salad with the hair and the pizza slice with the plastic and returned to the restaurant to show them what we found. Unfortunately, the woman who took my original order accused him of lying and implied we were trying to get free food. This was extremely disappointing.
To make matters worse, when my husband asked for a receipt (which he was not given at pickup), she suddenly provided one showing a total of $44—despite having told me over the phone that the total was $48.
It’s a shame, because the pizza itself tasted good. However, plastic in food is a serious choking hazard, and finding hair in a salad is unacceptable. The situation was made far worse by the staff’s response, the accusations, and the inconsistency in pricing. Had the issue been handled with honesty and accountability, I would have rated this place much higher.
Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. Customers should be cautious about pricing and, unfortunately, hope they don’t find human hair or plastic in their food.

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Italian cuisine and have a limited menu. Servers are available for customers when dining in. Customers can choose from pizza, salads, appetizers, calzones and beverages. I ordered a margherita pizza, salad and meatballs. The food was very good and well-prepared. Friendly and helpful staff.

If you’re looking for an old school Brooklyn pizzeria, look no further. From the moment you walk in, it has that classic neighborhood vibe, the smell of great pizza, and the well worn rhythm of people who know how to toss the dough in the air.
The pizza is excellent, but my personal favorite is the family sized calzone. It’s massive, perfectly baked, and packed with flavor. It’s the kind of calzone that comes out of the oven and immediately makes the whole table stop talking. Perfect for sharing, or not.
This is the kind of place that feels timeless, the type of pizzeria you grow up going to and keep coming back to because nothing can compare. Classic Brooklyn style, generous portions, and consistently delicious food. Highly recommend.
Oh and ask for Andrea as your server. You will not be disappointed!

Our favorite place in Bay Ridge. Since we moved here, we go to dine at least once a week or order pick up. We tried every pizza on the menu, and other dishes too. Everything is delicious and having eaten Pizza in various places across the world, I can honestly and without a doubt say that Frankie’s of Bay Ridge is up there in my personal top 3.
Only thing I would love this place to have is some sort of pasta dish to go with the delicious meatballs.

Amazing pizza, cozy ambiance, great music, friendly service..overall a solid local spot, great for dates/ with family..! Bianca was absolutely mind blowing, so much ricotta cheese and so fresh! Crust was so chewy and good just by itself too I even had a dream about having another slice last night will definitely revisit soon!

I ordered a Takeway of the honeymoon pizza and cheesecake. The pizza was pretty good and I’m sure even better in the restaurant! However I was disappointed to find the cheesecake had no base it was just a block of cheese… no cake. This was substantially different than seen on pictures when ordering. Unfortunately this did negatively impact my eating experience.

The pizza was absolutely perfect! I ordered the classic Brooklyn Pie, which was cooked to perfection thin and crispy. I’ll definitely be back to try the margarita. The older lady I think might be the manager or host. She’s very friendly and welcoming.
