This is one of my favorite dining spots in Charlotte Hall. They feature a wide variety of menu items, from sushi, to appetizers to wonderful hibachi dishes served with salad, soup, send the best fried rice around.
We frequently order to-go, but this evening my daughter and dined in the restaurant. The interior is neat, clean, and quite charming. We were seated right away at a very large booth, and given menus. Our server approached us soon after to ask what we wanted to drink. It didn’t take long for the drinks to come out and then we ordered our food. I had the teriyaki salmon and my daughter had the fillet mignon and scallops. The salads come with a delicious ginger dressing and the soup is mild and satisfying. There weren’t many people there this evening, but I’ve been there when they’re extremely busy and still get good service and great food. If you’re a fan of Japanese food, you should definitely check them out. I highly recommend.

Everything is done by hand. He was cutting the fresh vegetables for the day when I walked up. Food was absolutely delicious and the to-go plate was stuffed. The prices were extremely fair. The seating area is surrounded by flowers as it is located at a florist. Beautiful little spot for lunch!

We got carry out and almost everything was great. Only thing was, my daughter found a really long dark hair in her salad. I know it happens sometimes but it really threw the whole meal off.

This place is amazing. We eat here all the time and it has been 100% so good every single time! I’ve never had anything wrong with our food and it’s always delicious! My kids also eat their food with is a plus. I always feel bad because they make a mess, but it’s hard to contain all the rice as they’re shoveling it into their mouths.

Made a reservation through their website well in advance for Valentine’s day. Got a confirmation text, show up for our reservation and apparently they don’t accept reservations through their website. Why would you offer it ON YOUR WEBSITE?

Their food has always been good, however, their lack of accommodations for simple food requests has lost them our business. Asked if all 6 pieces of sushi on the sushi regular could be salmon, and they refused. Old Beijing is just as good in the sushi department and always willing to give customers what they ask for, if it’s not outrageous. Won’t be coming back.

This place is fantastic. I was a little off-put by the prices compared to other hibachi places around but they hook you up with a ton of food. The other places nearby don’t do that, just a box with your rice/protein/veg. Salad, soup, a whole big box of teriyaki, side is in a separate takeout box, and all the sauces you need. Absolutely the best around, I will be back again to try everything else. The restaurant itself is nice too, everyone I’ve interacted with is polite and friendly, nice quaint little place.
