Reviews are quite deceptive. The high rating and low quality of food – taste and freshness of ingredients/preparation tells me that Chinese food standards in the area are shockingly low. The food tastes like it’s fresh out of the refrigerator and nothing seemed freshly prepared (except the chicken main course). The soup tasted like cardboard. I was skeptical when I saw u clean cutlery, but went through the meal coz I was hungry. Not visiting again.

Pretty nice. Has plenty of seating. Can probably seat up to 30-40 people in all. Mix of table and booth seating. Nice interior design and ambiance with cool pictures on the wall, nice Chinese music playing, matching color scheme throughout. And the lady who runs the shop is really nice!

I just wish the food was as tasty as the setting is nice. Ordered the Shrimp with Garlic Sauce and it was just OK. A lot of food though, good sized portion. Just wasn’t very flavorful. Also ordered spring rolls which were a bit too fried. Service was super fast.

Worth trying at least once. I may go again to try my luck with a different dish

Log Cabin
We were passing through on our way back home from Chicago and picked a random Chinese place. Drove into this little strip, stores around it vacant… started to wonder… but turned out to be great! Friendly service and excellent food. Only thing that was odd was that the crab rangoons had onions in them.

Realized several bites of meat in that my egg rolls were not vegetarian, and then my fried rice was absolutely disgusting. I still can’t get the taste of burnt oil out of my mouth and there was absolutely no flavor to even try and compete. Zero flavor expect burnt grease.

We started going here when we found out that the old owners of Chans garden in St. Joseph are cooking here for their sister and brother in law. We eat here 2-3 times a month on average. The food is good here in my opinion.

This hands down was the worst Chinese I have had in my life and somehow it has good reviews. Nothing in the chicken resembled chicken.. curry sauce on the noodles was extremely strong and the rest I won’t even bother writing about. Save your money

Won’t ever step foot in thus place again.. General Tso chicken went from nice tasty flavor with a zest of orange peel . , to Blaa dark meat and no taste dark Blaa gravy.. Downgraded enormously … Gave them the benifit of a doubt, sadly they failed again. Ever since Original owner resigned 2yrs ago. No one’s ever beat him in his Amazing Customer Service, personality.. just miss that beautiful couple . Always had a great greeting to everyone, and knew what your order was. Your Soo missed.
