We went here on a Friday afternoon, it was really good! I loved the barbecue sauce because it’s not sweet it’s more tangy then anything. The Mac n cheese had hot cheeto dust on top for some spice and I liked it! Sweet tea wasn’t to sweet which made my happy! I think I payed $22 for a 2 meat plate with 2 sides! Not a bad deal! My husband and I will definitely come back here.

I went to Ribtown after going to Ribmasters and finding out they were sold out of sliced brisket and ribs. The prices per lb for ribs and brisket were comparable, but the quality was not. The ribs from Ribtown were dry, and tasted like they had been the ribs that didn’t sell the previous night. I ordered a pound of “moist” brisket and got lean, dry slices that hardly had a smoke ring. I do not recommend this place. If you’re paying 26 bucks a pound for BBQ, it had better be good. The other place certainly is!

I went in on a Monday around 1 and it was dead inside. I can see why, their meat is extremely dry, the coleslaw was more like just cabbage. The Mac n jac was more spicy than anything had no flavor just burning, the ribs had a good sauce ontop but was dry as well. The only thing I liked about the food was the toast and the bbq sauce. The service was bad as well. We walked in and no one was around, the cook came out and told us we can sit anywhere. The waitress was on her phone texting about 40% of the time I saw her. Will never go back!

Hands down the WORST Ribs I’ve ever eaten, they were definitely not fresh one was still cool and they were covered in a horrible sauce on top of the hard inedible outer layer. My oldest daughter thought the ribs tasted like dog treats and my youngest said they smelled like fish. The Mac n Jack was just OK as we’re the baked beans and the baked potato. It took over 30 minutes to receive our food which at a BBQ place in my mind indicates too much use of the microwave. Definitely will not be back!

I stopped in for lunch today. 9/6/25 I asked for 1/2 pound marbled brisket. The owner serve me some of the dryest brisket I have ever had. It did not have any marbled to it. I showed the owner a picture of marbled brisket and told him that is what I expected. He said they use all of the marbled brisket for chopped brisket. Upon seeing that I was unhappy he did not even try to offer me anything different. So unless you want sarcasm and disappointment I would avoid this place.

I will not be returning, I ordered a 3 meat plate but I didn’t want any pork, double the beef. The girl at the counter kept going back to the kitchen asking the owner questions. Lack of knowledge of her job, could not definitive decisions. He would not double the beef, I could have paid extra. I felt profiled since she made me pay for the food after I ordered. This never happened before.

Pretty good place. It’s a little fancier looking than most BBQ places than you go too. my only real complaint is that you have to ask for more BBQ sauce because they come in small cups instead of a bottle at the table, but they’re super nice and will bring you as much as you want.
