Really liked this place. We had 2 different ramen, the traditional shoyu and the teriyaki. The shoyu wasn’t as special as I expected, the broth didn’t have as much taste as it should. Of course my standards are the original shoyu from Japan. The teriyaki we got spicy. Was not super spicy but teriyaki chicken didn’t have much flavour and arrived a bit cold.
Our favorite was the fried chicken. From another world! Loved it.
We also had the Buta Karubi Don, with pork meat and rice. Also our favorite. I think the meat was cooked with ginger and there was caramelized onion.
Actually the side dishes we found better and more special than the ramen itself!
We also had green tea which was really good and authentic (as in Japan) but was missing some more powder as there was barely any and by the end it tasted just like a bit warm water.
Will go back 🙂

First of all, I recommend this restaurant.
I’ve had a lot of Japanese-style udon in my life, and I ordered udon again here — but it has a different character from typical Japanese udon.
It has a flavor reminiscent of Korean janchi-guksu or even a hint of fish sauce. The Asian-style aroma is quite strong, but it’s actually very tasty.

The toppings, in particular, are fantastic — they’re so good that even five stars don’t feel enough just for those alone.

If you’re looking for a solid bowl of ramen that doesn’t disappoint, this is the spot. I dropped by on a Saturday evening, and as expected, the place was packed. Despite the crowd, the wait was only about 10 minutes before I was seated, which was a pleasant surprise for peak hours.
The Food: Absolutely delicious. The broth had a rich depth of flavor, and the noodles were cooked to a perfect texture.
The Service: Impressively fast. From the moment I ordered to the bowl hitting the table, the staff kept things moving efficiently without making me feel rushed.
Overall: A great choice for a high-energy dinner. Just be prepared for a short wait if you’re heading there during the weekend rush!

I have eaten a lot of ramen in Japan. From Tokyo to Osaka, Kyoto to Kyushu, I’ve tried many different varieties. This restaurant is similar in style and flavor to many I have tried in central and southern Japan. The portions are much larger, which is reflected in the higher than normal pricing, but you’re getting authentic Japanese ramen in Germany. So it’s worth the cost in my estimation. The shoyu and miso base options are very good. The karaage is also quite tasty though in a different style than most traditional Japanese offerings. Overall, it was very satisfying and we will return to this restaurant again!

The vegan ramen was outstanding — deep flavor, great texture, and incredibly satisfying.
Service was fast and professional, and the atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. It’s clearly a highly rated spot, and after this visit, I fully understand why.

Both 2 types of ramen we tried werent really great and authentic. The chasu could use a bit more cooking time for better tenderness. Other experience was great overall.

It tastes good, but the portion isn’t enough for me. I also ordered Dumpling and Rice.

I know bloggers say, that this is the best ramen place in cologne, but I was a bit disappointed by the actual flavour and pricing. Don’t get me wrong, the food we had was still very good, but it’s definitely on the more expensive side and I would have loved to have more flavour for the soup itself, especially for the veggie versions. Also, I would fully recommend booking a table, as we came in summer and there was a queue outside and the staff was a bit stressed. I am not sure if I’d go there again, but I’d definitely still recommend this to every ramen lover, as the inside of the restaurant has a nice and busy atmosphere. It’s definitely better to come in small groups, but all in all, it was a nice evening.

One of the best ramen spots in town! We visited in the late afternoon when it wasn’t too busy, and the service was excellent. The staff were friendly and our food arrived super fast. The ramen was flavorful and the menu deals saved us quite a bit. The takoyaki was absolutely amazing—crispy on the outside, soft and delicious inside. Highly recommend this place!

The takoyaki was good. The Tokyo Ramen was also very tasty, with a well-balanced broth and fresh toppings. They serve good Japanese beers, which went really well with the food.

There was a short line, but it moved quickly and I got seated without much waiting. Inside, the atmosphere was calm and comfortable, making it easy to enjoy the meal.

Overall, everything was well prepared and enjoyable. I’ll definitely come back on my next visit to Köln.
