Honestly, this is one of my family’s favorite Mexican restaurants in North Texas! After exploring Lake Mineral Wells State Park, we oftentimes pop in here to fill our empty tanks/tummies. We always leave happy … and sometimes even have leftovers!

Service was good, and the place smelled clean. But the food was a miss for us. I did, however, enjoy the sauces that come on the dishes as well as the green sauce. I got the sour cream chicken enchiladas, the enchiladas were stuffed, and the rice and beans were good. Hubs got this burrito that was huge with carne sauce, but the burrito was basically just greasy fries, and I don’t I have ever had queso like thiers before. I feel like it was just scooped from a can.

You know what, I used to be a fan of this place. As of lately, and this is very unfortunate, they seem to want to douse everything in gallons of cheese. Even when you tell them not to do it, they go ahead and do it. They claim their chimichangas are deep fried, but they’re not. Service has declined sharply over the past few months.

Even though were the first ones there we were able to get a table quickly.
The waitress named Jackie did a phenomenal job!
She made sure we were welcomed, very sweet and kind, made sure we had everything we needed, and made us feel at home!
The food was served to us a couple minutes after we ordered so we were very pleased with that aswell.
Overall a million stars!
Everyttime we come back we’re going to try to get a table with Jackie!

Been there 3 times prior and liked the salsa and the food. Went there tonight and we could not even eat any of the salsa due to it tasting like they dumped a ton of salt on it. Horribly over salted. Then when we got our meal, the usually great shrimp burrito was also super salty. Felt like I had no choice so ate about half of it. But, the saltiness was extreme and gave me a stomach ache. So unfortunately we will not go back because they do not manage the cooking details and I cannot stomach eating anything so overly salted. This meal was really bad due to that alone. Service was good but they had no alternative to offer when we told them the salsa was crazy salty. And don’t need to consume dangerous levels of salt. I wish they would oversee how the dishes are being prepared.
