We are a locally owned restaurant, grill and watering hole that focuses on great American food and excellent customer service. Full service bar with live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night from 5:30-8:30 PM. We bring in local musicians as well as those from out of town. Decent bar/restaurant with cowboy country decorations.
The bar is open (no internal walls) and next to dining area which makes for a really loud dining experience.
Service was great. Food was delivered fast and hot. Fries are a little basic and they don’t have a fry sauce. No salt and pepper on the table as well.
Parking is tricky.

First time visit, I ordered the pastrami on rye sandwich and the beet salad. Both EXCELLENT! I brought most of the salad home for dinner tonight. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Atmosphere is similar to previous establishments with some nice new embellishments. I’ll definitely be back to try the hot chicken wings!

Needed to get off the highway when I was making my way up to Sedona. Camp Verde was the first place to pull off which was good for a number of reasons…
Stopped in at a few retail stores and the local trading post across the street from the Bullpen then made my way over to this spacious bar & grill for a late lunch. Right away I knew that I was in a great place when I looked at the menu. The bartender/server was very prompt and informative as I asked her for recommendations. Ended up ordering the beet salad along with a grilled salmon that wasn’t even on the lunchtime menu.
Not sure if I can describe how amazing this meal actually was. The salad was simply a unique & brilliant creation. Then the salmon came out and it was absolutely perfectly cooked and seasoned the way I would do it if I was preparing the fish in my own kitchen. To make the experience even better, I was served with the house special margarita. Honestly, I tried to find something to be harshly critical about in the Bullpen Grill but it was a futile task. So unexpected to find this gem of a place in a quiet little place close to Sedona and not really a popular tourist destination.

My husband and I decided to drive up from Phoenix for lunch and came across this restaurant…I’m so happy that we did. The food, customer service and the overall atmosphere were fabulous. Will was AMAZING, and he made us feel at home. We will definitely will be back!

Wow! Really fantastic food at a great price, we were very pleasantly surprised. The ambiance does not do the restaurant the justice it deserves though, walking in it feels like a bar, but with white table cloth food. Overall we were very glad we came and will definitely be back with friends! The waiter, Will was very attentive and did a great job!

Opening day and 3 of us went for lunch. Not busy at all which was kind of shocking especially it being its first day open. Waitresses seemed very unhappy, like they weren’t really feeling it. Inside looks the same as previous restaurant. We got an order of the fried pickles. They were pretty good, batter was on the thicker side. My son ordered the green chili pozole. I was definitely not a fan as it was more green chili than pozole. Also, didn’t come with a spoon. We asked and never got one so my son ate it with a fork. We also got 2 wagyu cheeseburgers. I asked for mine well done and it was, thankfully lol I also got a side of mayo since the burger didn’t have any. Pretty good burger overall but could use some more flavor. Fries on both burger plates were barely lukewarm. Not sure if we’ll be back. Prices are on the higher side and the lack of a variety on the menu is disappointing. Gave 2 stars. If we go back and it’s different I’ll update then.

I was blessed to be able to dine at the Bullpen. Let me tell you this was one of the best outings I’ve had in a minute. The atmosphere was wonderful the bartender Wali was very welcoming and made me feel like I was the only in the restaurant. I mean she made sure I was always checked while managing her other guests 10/10. The food was absolutely delicious the waygu burger is the best in the Valley. The Brisket dinner plate is mouth watering . I give the Bullpen and watering hole a 10/10

What a great joint. Looks like a dive bar from the outside, has some great woodwork and copper duct work on the inside with a very good menu. I had New England clam chowder and a portobello grilled cheese with caramelized onions…..heavenly. Our party of 13 was well taken care of by our server, Will, who did a bang up job.
