I had a very uncomfortable experience at this Hungry Howie’s location. An older female employee with dirty blonde hair acted extremely unprofessional during a DoorDash pickup. The order had already been confirmed in the system, and I explained that I could not go back to reconfirm it again in front of her. Instead of handling the situation calmly, she became aggressive and attempted to physically snatch the pizza out of my hand.
This crossed a serious line. NO customer or delivery driver should ever be touched or handled physically over an order.
I understand store policies, but there is absolutely no excuse for getting physical or escalating a situation like that. If this issue is not addressed and resolved, I will be contacting higher management to ensure this behavior is taken seriously.

We got “pencil thin” hungry howie bread and asked if they could remake it. The “manager” kept telling me that’s how their bread is made; which isn’t true. And he kept telling me I was wrong and the bread was correct. I asked him to either remake it or refund me my money. Which he was hesitant but got my money refunded. Please train your employees better on customer service; food preparation and quality control. So this doesn’t happen again.
Hungry Howie’s Howie Bread is generally intended to be fluffy and warm baked bread, not “pencil thin”. If you received Howie Bread that was “pencil thin,” it was likely an error in preparation at that specific location, such as:

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger pizza with a Greek salad. The pizza is nothing special unfortunately. I wanted a local treasure pizza place and it’s bland and over baked. The salad looks like something you buy prepackaged at Smiths and it was slimey and inedible. Also not a Greek salad. Just a limp garden salad that says it’s Greek because, dressing. I’m so mad.
They outsource delivery to Door Dash and take no accountability for THEIR delivery service problems. I didn’t want Door Dash, I wanted Howie’s fromm beginning to end to avoid this whole disaster. Photos available!

Idk who the 2 people are working New Year’s Eve, and I’m not one to ever complain but they messed up on our crust and did no flavor (which is the reason anyone goes to hungry homies) so I thought I’d call and even offered to pick up anything to be flexible to get the help needed. But they were the biggest jerks to us and simply said since there’s no manager they couldn’t do anything about it. I can change this to a 5 star when you guys fix this

Ordered over $120 worth of food, not including the tip. Ordered a Large Specialty Buffalo Chicken Pizza, Extra Cheese, Extra Chicken, NO RED ONIONS. I get home and it’s covered in Onions. Called the store to request a replacement, and the employee hung up on me before I could remind him that it has Extra Chicken and Cheese. I even highlighted and circled it on the receipt and asked my wife to help me go get another one. She showed up with the pizza in hand and the just says “Here’s your pizza.” My wife gets home and I asked what happened to the extra chicken and cheese, but she just assumed it was made properly.

Hungry Howie’s used to be the place to go. I remember how their pizza used to be. The cheese used to fall and melt in your mouth. Now every time I have ordered I always end up calling to complaint and I hate doing that. So I stopped ordering from them. Today my kids were starving after a game so I decided to try my luck. A large stuffed crust with pepperoni and X-cheese. If you see the photo that was my pizza just crust, sauce and pepperoni. Xcheese on a hungry Howie’s used to be a glorious thing. Not any more.

I usually really like Hungry Howies. Tonight, however, it wasn’t a very good experience. The girls that are “working” are too busy talking to each other. They messed up my order and the order ahead of mine. I ordered the Antipaso salad with no tomatoes, no olives, and extra pepperonchi with creamy Italian dressing. I got a salad with extra olives, extra tomatoes, and no pepperonchi, and they were out of the dressing. I understand people make mistakes, and sometimes you run out of things. However, it was quite obvious they were just too busy talking to pay attention. I was handed my order, and then the girl immediately turned her back to me to continue talking. It was quite rude.
